Where are the pirate(NPC) capital ships?

I have never seen or heard of a pirate(NPC) capital ship.
Do they even exsist?
And if so, what do you get for blowing them up?

What Tippa said. Theres a Sansha supercarrier in the HQ systems which you have to kill for the Incursion to end.

low sec incursions! wonder how often people actually do them? Seems like it would be reasonably good isk/hour and a chance to get good fights.

I've done one back in the day with Eve-UNI (on my main). I wasn't doing the sites though, only providing protection. ;)
We were competing for the sites with a TEST fleet.

People did them before the changes/nerfs. Don't know how often it is done nowadays.

Goonswarm was largely responsible for clearing out the lowsec incursions up until the nerf, we did get a few Rev BPC's but as a general rule; no one wants them.

I wouldn't mind seeing some pirate dreads/carriers. It makes far more sense than pirate supers.

Side note: I'd also like to see Drones turned into a proper pirate faction.

EDIT: 9 times out of 10 we let someone else pop the MS. It wasn't worth the isk/h hit to do it. Best to just keep pounding away at the other sites until someone else dropped it.

Last time I did the Sister's Epic Arc there was one mission where there were NPC capital ships one could engage. This was a number of years ago though, no idea if that is still the case.

Here's a video of us (RAZOR) killing the Sansha supercarrier last month.

The thing about incursions is that it cynojams the entire constellation, which is a gigantic pain in the ass for nullsec alliances as you can imagine (jump bridges stop working properly as well - you can jump out but you can't jump in). The gate rats are pretty deadly as well to anyone traveling alone. So we decided to take it out instead of letting the incursion go on and die out.

If you're talking about a Sansha Incursion, "back in the day" doesn't apply.

i think theres a carrier in a mission, perhaps a lvl 5.

remeber shooting a cap NPC before now and it wasnt an incursion
