New Tier 3 BC's, King of WH's?

Mass is always an issue with wormholes, So do you guys think these new Tier 3 BC will be more popular in WH's than in other space? I would think the Oracle would make for a good POS shooter in this context. Less mass than BS's with the same DPS so you can cram more into the hole before the exit closes.
Thoughts?

More popular for people raiding WH's, not so much with people trying to farm the rats there.

For me they will be "Hanger Candy" like T3's, faction ships, and those ship CCP gives for gifts

I think the Oracle will be the new pos take down machine personally for the mass reasons you list here. They'll likely have a good cap recharge as well so time will tell.

Don't you guys think that sleeper NPC's would tear these ships apart, with them having significantly less tank than say a Drake does?

I understand that a powerful offense is a form of tank, but sleepers hit pretty hard, and you can't alpha them all fast enough not to take some hits.

I'm talking solo anomaly clearing here in C1,2 and 3 holes.

I certainly agree that having more dps with less mass will make WHs more interesting, but I don't think it'll change too much overall.

Also I wouldn't solo in one unless you fit some specific slots for the elite scram frigs, but you'll gimp your overall dps.

Well i was thinking about pvp inside the WH defending, attacking, and bringing in reinforcements. These ships are way to squishy for pve in WH's.

I think it will make abandoned/poorly defended/Resist-star POS in Class 1-2 Wormholes more vulnerable since it'll be possible to bring decent enough DPS to kill those boring large towers there. Other than that though, I don't think they'll be that useful for PvE.

it'll be a cost vs effectiveness issue. if it's cheaper to buy and fit an oracle than an abbadon/et al then there will be a use for it.

a decent pos set up will have a gunner available that would alpha battleships for the most part anyway. when it's a tier 3 bc vs a bs, a target is a target that takes the same amount of time to destroy.

i'm sure we'll see what kind of spider tank may be useful/available given powergrid/cap, along with logi, to minimize pos gun impact.

running WH's is more about tank than gank since sleepers hit so effing hard (unless they bring logi), though gank is important also.

I think the new BC's will be more important for the guys annoying those who are running the sites...
