I don't know what happened but i rebooted my computer and the bug was gone even with shader on high..

650 GTX here.
Restart didn't worked and by looking at nVidia's forums I saw that there is a chance of overheating GPU with 320. installed. Since there's nothing wrong with 314.22 drivers, I have just reverted to it and will be waiting for a fix from nVidia.

Best thing to do is revert back to 314.22 drivers until Nvidia has a driver update above 320.18

Adjusting the shader quality to medium for Nvidia driver 320.18 is not a fix, just a work around that works, tho I would question the drivers altogether ...... this is why I rolled back to 314.22 and have zero issues now with any games

Trust me when I first saw this bug, it was a WTF? moment for me, I'm running 2x eVGA GTX Titans in SLI and for that kind of money I don't expect to have any issues. I've been using Nvidia cards for years, long before EvE was even a game and I never had driver issues until now with this 320.18 update so Nvidia has had a great track record with me at least, They'll get out some new drivers soon

Same here on my Alienware M17xR4 with a Nvidia 660 with the latest Drivers (Downloaded yesterday).

Problem:
The Screen is turning into something blue/purple foggy stuff when Shader is set to "High".

Solution:
Set the Shader to "Medium" in the Graphics Section of EVEs ESC Screen and everything works fine again.

This is actually the first driver/rendering issue I've had within 10+ years of using Nvidia cards. :)

If you read Nvidia forums after each new drivers release, could it be 320.xx, 314.xx or even before, you will always find comments about everything. When you listen to some people, their GPU could turn into a bomb because of a driver update.

I really don't see how 320.xx would cause overheating. The temperature is not regulated (only) through drivers but also through firmware. And frying up a GPU because of overheating nowadays is nearly impossible with all the safeguards in place. (If temperature is too high, the GPU will underclock itself automatically. Worse case scenario, everything will be frozen and you'll have to reboot.)

What kills GPU are power issues (surge, dirty power, awful PSU etc.)

You don't count the entire year it took for 8800 card drivers to get optimized/useful an issue.

Anyway the 2 prior beta drivers of 320 had the same issue, people reported it, that was over a month or so ago, still Nvidia launches new drivers WHQL with this issue, really love the "support" nvidia has for EvE, or was that only in selling cards for plex

The poster above is spot on with other games being affected, Just visited the GeForce website and seems many games COD,BF3 and others are affected by either artefacts, stuttering or a blue hue of some sort.

Well, Hell's Bells!!! If COD is affected, we should expect a fix within a few days. :)

Ahh I do remember the 8800 GTX, I loved that card and it was the s***t back in the day, however it was already optimized when I started using it hehe

Someone suggested in another thread this issue could be caused from 3-D being turned on by default. I haven't upgraded my Nvidia drivers yet so I can't confirm, but just take a quick look at the control panel and see if that is the case. Can't hurt to at least take a look. :)

Having the same issue here. 320.18 and GTX 780.

Green/blue haze unless shaders set to medium.Oops

The new 320.49 BETA driver fixes this problem, thanks for making the thread I thought it was EVE that was bust.
