Why is the new launcher being forced on us?

It has come to my attention, that you, CCP, plan to disable logging into the game, via using the EXEfile in the bin folder, however, the only reason many of us are using it, is because the new launcher is so cumbersome to use, annoying, problematic, slow, and inconvenient, that we would rather use a simple solution that works. So if there is a way that works, why are you disabling it? Why force your new launcher down our throats?

The new launcher is slow, it is laggy, it is an increased burden on system resources, it cannot store the names of all my accounts, it is not more secure as you still have to type in the password, and most of all, we didn't want it.

So why are you disabling the option that we like, in favor of possibly the biggest slap in the face to multi-boxers like myself that you have done in a long time? Your new launcher Is bad, and you should feel bad. Bring back the old one.

Yes, the old logging in screen was epic, but simple. The new launcher is kind of neat, but it is a bit slowish, full of marketing info, etc. Also if I enter my log in details, it should already load the old epic screen. Why do I have to click play after I have logged in? I am not playing the launcher.

Have you considered that CCP has more plans with the launcher in later updates? The problems you have now will be sorted out - they know what they are doing. Just be patient.

5 Threads on the first page of IW&L and you decide to start another one, No to mention the 20 to 30 threads buried in the next couple pages. Add to that the 30 or more threads on this topic in GD, and all I want to tell you is read my signature.
