The new launcher and some of its oversized issues

The new launcher is excellent ....to an extent. First of all, it now requires even more mouse clicks and keystrokes to log on to multiple accounts! With a launcher of this nature, we should be able to select a 'default' character to log on to if we so choose, so that we can click 'Play' and immediately load the client as the character we wish to play.

Second, I commonly leave my clients running well after downtime, click 'Restart', and now nothing happens. Before this new launcher, my client would reload and I could relog. "Ok", I say to myself, "I will just click 'Play' and reload the client!" NOPE! Not happening. I now have to click 'switch character', re-enter my password, and THEN reload the client.

Maybe I am just a grumpy old spacevet, but I can't be the only one who miss's the days of simply loading the client however many times for each account, and inputting my account details in the client screen itself. With this new client, it is way too easy to boot yourself off the game because you clicked 'Play' to load the client in a rush to get your alt on, forgetting what account was selected.

Saithe, you just don't know quality craftmanship when you see it. Down with feature rich content. The new launcher is how Apple would do it, if they hired some braindead monkey to do the layout, and code, and feature-set.

read all the threads that aren't buried under 3 pages of threads locked for being duplicate and/or redundant and/or lack of content because people are too stupid to post in the stickies.

that's what i'd do with my spare time, but maybe that's just me.

I'm having this issue too & it appears to be due to the launcher.exe process which I delete from Task Manager process tab then reload client. Sometimes I'm being forced to reboot my PC

Why don't you just do that rather than waste your time making worthless remarks that merely bump the threads you are complaining about up to the top anyway.

It seems rather stupid to me but you obviously get some satisfaction out of it.

Posting in a stickied thread means my 2 cents gets buried underneath the hundred of responses by everyone else. Creating my own thread forces people to read my 2 cents. Your continued bumping of my 2 cents gets the message out to even more people, effectively more efficient than what a 'sticky' can provide.

This launcher is just amazingly good, you have all the information and links for whatever you want/need related to Eve.

In a click fest game you're actually moaning because you have some clicks to launch your game?

I'm not a phd in computer science or anything but is it asking too much to log out to the character selection screen?

Just post on dedicated thread instead, devs are not stupid and clearly read players feedback, if it's something easy to do or that really helps gaming experience for a lot of players they will do it.
