G'day Fellow Spacedenizens,

First post here, so please be gentle.

I have been playing the game for roughly a year (real life got in the way for a few months, kept the sub going as long as I could to keep the skill que active) but since I have been back I have taken an interest in WH's. I have day-tripped into a few WH's just to get a feel for things (flying around in my cov-op ship, scanning anom and sigs down). Even had my first taste of C1 anoms and came out unscathed, honestly I didn't think that was gonna happen!! The rush of keeping an eye out on d-scan and fighting off sleepers, salvaging all the loot I could before having my d-scan scream out that there was incoming hostiles and making my way out pretty much got me hooked. I have been checking out some of the posts from various WH corps in the CAOC section and their base requirements and sadly I am nowhere near to meeting said prerequisites.

I have been thinking of what most appeals to me as far as the EVEverse goes, and have been weighting the pros and cons of losec, null, and WH; and from where I am standing at the moment WH's feel like home. My pvp experience is next to none Sad, but what better place to learn then in WH space, lol.

I have my sights on flying a Legion and am about 24 days away.

I can fly cov-op, bomber, advanced frigs, battlecruisers; have some mining experience and getting into PI as well.

Apologies for the rambling and almost non-coherent post, just wanted to throw my name out there and hopefully if anyone is interested in guiding a pilot in the ways of living in WH's please send me an ingame mail.

Any suggestions and/or recommendations as to how I can improve my solo-WH living until I have the necessary skills to apply to an active corp would be most appreciated.

The fact that you can already fly Covert-ops, Bombers, and know how to scan already makes you ready to live in WH corp. The fact that you are training into a T3 is also a plus. You just need to join their public channels, talk to the recruiters etc. find one that is WH newbie friendly.

Try hoping into Talocan Uniteds Public channel, “Talocan United”. Ive spent time in there chatting away to them, and they have always been a friendly bunch

Use the recruitment forums to find the public channels for the various WH corps. Even if you don't have all of the prerequisites attitude will more than make up for it. If a particular corp does not budge then find another one that will be a better fit.

Start the day off slow and taper off from there.

I can confirm that at least most Talocan Corps are game and willing to fight in spite of having some low SP players.

Just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their suggestions and in-game mails. Honestly I wasn't expecting my post to receive this much feedback. It is nice to see a helpful WH community that will help a new WH pilot like myself.

I have found a home and am settling in to living in WH's, exciting times ahead!

I hope to meet up with you all sometime in this vast universe.
