How should we improve the inventory UI?

+1 to displaying ME/PE/Runs-left in the standard inventory window. Or at least on a mouse-over like we get with weapon info on the ship UI.

Folders would be nice, but now that station containers and such are something that can be manufactured by players, CCP kinda painted themselves into a corner having sold BPO's and all.

I think that the current UI can serve all of my needs if

1) (acknowledged to be less realistic) some way of nesting containers was added. Even if these were "Container dividers" or "warehouse curtains" that don't actually have any volume and can't exist outside of a station container or pos hanger but allow the creation of tiers of division and classification of some sort - you know, sorting?

2) Make it impossible to repackage a container that has anything inside of it. Accidental repackaging causes lots of problems. It is trivially easy to empty a container to allow repackaging; it is impossibly hard to figure out what was in a container when it accidentally gets repackaged.

The ability to right click on a can, station hangar, even the hangar floor and "set destination"

The Set Destination menu would then ask for a proper name.

ie (AMMO, SELL, BLUEPRINTS, MATERIALS)

That when when you right click on an item IF YOU HAVE A DESTINATION CONFIGURED. (if not it looks normally)

You can click "Send to Ammo" "Send to Sell", and so on.

This would let you instantly select all and move it off your hangar floor to the container you want with a single mouse click.

Now with 100% less Troll.

And why compact mode disables an active filter? It should remember filters.
Maybe I have plenty of stuff in cargo but during pvp I need to see only 1-3 specific types of things.
Now I have to use normal mode to do so, because switching to the compact disables my custom filter.

Or is there any trick to force the compact mode to use filters?

ISSUE: launching drones with the mouse takes to much time
FIX: whenever we put drones in a group, assign a number to this group and display it in front of it's name (for exemple "(1) Hammerheads"). Then allow us to assign a keyboard shortcut to launch each drones group, based on it's number.

PS : yeah, i know, it's not really inventory... :-p

perhaps you could work on drones now please :P .. i think they are more urgent matter now and you're name should compulse you to fix them :)

inventory ISSUE: cannot STACK ALL form inventory list


invent ISSUE : every invent setup need 3-4 click to finish the invent setup. if I want to invent 9 pcs together. I need click 4X9 times. if I need 9000 times invent setup, I need waste 3000mins=2 days for invent setup.
Suggestion: allow many of invent setup together.

ISSUE: Bounty spam makes it difficult to tell from the overview when someone has a bounty worth pursuing and when someone just has a 10k bounty.

FIX: Add an adjustable min-threshold option to the colortag/background "Pilot has bounty on him", default 1 ISK.

IE: Allow colortag to be set so "Pilot has bounty" will only display if bounty =< 1000000 ISK.
