Really though. I'm not a goon. I refuse to pay :tenbux: to join a space guild, no matter how honourable they are. I've tried to give 500m isk to their professional and courteous recruitment staff a few times, but being super busy, they always seem to forget to send an invite.



If you still believe the 10 bucks legend or idiots myth you're already lost dude. If you believe any serious recruitment, even in GOONS, require 500M isk or your assets, you're lost again dude.

Stop being lazy or giving boots licks, that will not or ever help your to do whatever.

Thanks for the sage advice mate o7o7o7. My only wish is that your wise words had reached me before I tried 3 times to get recruited. It's ok though. A really nice goon in C+P has promised to investigate these oversights for a mere 500m, so everything should be righted shortly.

Never met a Goon. Prolly haven't been popped / podded by one (so far). Like 'em or hate 'em someone had the idea to start 'em & they play they way they want to which is what EVE is all abouts.

Please tell me: What have the Goons done that is so great for Eve? Have they ever done anything positive for the community as a whole? Have they ever done anything that did not serve their own interests? Something that wasn't selfish? Do they have an altruistic side that actually strives to give back to the community?

I'd wholeheartedly like to know if this is the case, because it's the only way my opinion of Goons would ever be changed. You're "appreciating" an alliance that willingly followed their master's orders by trying to get a guy to kill himself in real life. Yeah, old news, whatever. It still speaks volumes about them.

I'd be quicker to "appreciate" PL over Goons any day -- at least Shadoo actually helps out EVE-UNI's "students." Oh, yeah... Why don't we appreciate groups like that? They're pretty awesome. CVA. Pretty cool also. And they don't all have to be "good" to be worth "appreciating." There are nullsec alliances that absolutely fascinate me; Goons are not one of them.

I'll probably regret posting this, but I just wish people would look at the bigger picture and realize Goons pretty much represent the worst that Eve has to offer. Hopefully now they'll at least stop coming into our embassy asking if we want to rent space from them! Roll

You know, Mittani OP, despite alt-trolling and sock-puppetry being fine and storied traditions hereabouts, it is generally considered good form to be a little less obvious about it.

Elaborate a bit on that? I mean, I heard it cost someone in goons the CSM position or something of the sort. That aside...

There's a reason why they are portrayed in such a villainous way.
