Whether you love to hate 'em, aspire to be them, or just plain appreciate all the amazing content they have provided us over the years you cannot deny the profound impact they have had on Eve.

Personally some of the nicest and most helpful dudes I've ever met in this game or on these forums are Goons.

Also, obligatory: grr goons!

Ha! Actually I believe I'm what you fine folks call a "highsec pubbie". Just reading through the forums and I noticed an extraordinary amount of helpful and knowledgeable goon posts. I wouldn't trust you with so much as 50 isk in game, but as contributing members of the community you guys are pretty great.

Its kinda true. What would nullsec be like without all the conflict they bring? C&P would be a lot more boring then it is without the tears from goon scams for better or worse they are a big part of eve.

Really though. I'm not a goon. I refuse to pay :tenbux: to join a space guild, no matter how honourable they are. I've tried to give 500m isk to their professional and courteous recruitment staff a few times, but being super busy, they always seem to forget to send an invite.

Seriously. Who would I be sucking up to?

Carebears whine about goons all day long, I just thought it might be nice if they could explore the other side of that coin and realize that goons might play the villain, but if you take a step back you begin to see that as a whole they have been nothing but great for Eve.

i neither like nor dislike goons, but i do find them hugely amusing. between the tinfoil, and the stuff they actually do they keep me sufficiently entertained that mining doesn't make me want to throw myself out of the nearest window.

If you still believe the 10 bucks legend or idiots myth you're already lost dude. If you believe any serious recruitment, even in GOONS, require 500M isk or your assets, you're lost again dude.

Stop being lazy or giving boots licks, that will not or ever help your to do whatever.

While I do not approve of some of the things Goons do, I neither love nor hate them.
They do what they do and I do what I do in the big ol' sandbox called EvE Online.

I did read somewhere though that Mittens has to fly two titans, one for himself and one for his ego. True or false?
