honestly, plex discussion should be done on GD, not here. and people that "invest" or speculate with it are simple minded at best.

the best you can do is profit on unpredictable fluctuations, knowing full well that there's a ton of other traders ready to jump and freak out the moment they noticed CCP intervened in the marked and dumped prices. and yes, there's flipping, but market bots will eat your profits and time.

if you don't want your ISK to sit idle on your wallet and get destroyed by inflation, then make a portfolio of around ten random production materials and buy, buy, buy. since plex has a max price not indexed, its not even useful to mitigate inflation.

or better yet, buy characters.

3% of a NAV of around 800b excluding characters.

I think of it more as a price fix.

A greater return can be managed by swing trading the plex market, traditional longer term investment in plex does not offer a strong enough return compared to playing volitility, arbitrage, or speculating on game mechanic changes.

I was holding around 1500 PLEX in various means although not all were liquid. It's been a good few days. That represents a large portion of my net worth. Many have now been sold obviously.

1-2%, depending on how you calculate the NAV. Mostly for charity and personal use, though likely to sell when it hits 600 :)

Any colour you like.
