Ronin and pixies team still waiting for mails

And yet it would be so easy to just list here all those he thinks are good. That would be information rather than what seems further procrastination. Having said that, at least the procrastination does seem to be shuffling along a lot more swiftly.

Well at least is something happening ...didnt i hear it at the very begining that it ussualy takes up to 4 Months,until the prices are payed out ? .....well its already half of the year and counting. I know you guys have been Bussy with the 10 Years aniversary but still its HALF a YEAR.
But i did not wanted to write here and complain all i wanted to say is that it is really great that YOU GUYS have 20 invoices ready ....but I HAVE NOT BEEN CONTACTED by noone of CCP regarding the payment so ...i am curios if you can tell me where are you actually send my price ???. I am not 100% sure if you contacted everyone in the team or just the captain , but there is quiete a few guys from RONIN and Pixies you have not contacted as well.
I hope that you will be able to asnwer to me before you send the prices to some1 else.

For almost 6 month, you manage do to what CCP?

To be honest, I think your being quite too critical on your little assessment here.

1) CCP got screwed over as much as the winners did by whatever website was hosting the tournament (I can't even remember their name anymore and I don't care to.) While I do agree CCP should have made sure that everything was squared away before even starting the tournament, especially by having the prizes set aside, you should remember that no one paid to enter the tournament (except for the ships that were lost). CCP is doing their able best to make things right, and I am almost certain that the prize winners (by reading some of their previous posts, like the one guy who thinks his bank account number is the gateway to ruining him financially), are not making CCPs job any easier.

2) WHERE IS MY DAMNED T-SHIRT NO EXCUSE, YOU MESSED UP THE MOST IMPORTANT, EASIEST, PART OF THE PRIZES.

3)CCP did a really great thing by locking the date you had to be in the alliance by in order to play, I completely agree with this, and I actually surprised they implemented so a controversial but necessary limitation on the alliance tournament. This will only make the alliance tournament more enjoyable and competitive.

4)SCL is great don't get me wrong, they put a lot of hard work into it and I think it will be a great community service in the future. However, I don't think that you can make a clear distinction as to which one is better, after all SCL formed itself on the foundation of rules and formats that CCP built. The clear difference now is that SCL is being run a lot more often than anything CCP has done, so SCL will be able to tweak and perfect the rules, points, and format over a shorter period of time than CCP ever could.

So really CCP is doing what they can, they will get it done. While I don't appreciate CCPs time frame on the issue, I do believe they will stay true to their word. There was also some hints I picked up at fanfest from a few developers, that EVE tournaments are a back-burner game element to everything else, and that an extreme low priory is given to anything concerning them. I also know that there are few developers that are dedicated to making EVE tournaments a great and wonderful experience shared by participants and viewers alike, I think they will prevail.

Cas Mania, auction plexes were paid by the teams to enter the tournament. ;)

As for the rest, its simple

1. Plexes were handed out, medals too (they could have been less generic), team game cards, excellent work.

2. Shirts - that was CCP responsibility from the begining

3. 3rd party did not pay and CCP was within its rights to decline to pay up, and TBH I would understand that. However, CCP announced that they will, and from that moment they took the responsibilty. The fact that 3rd party does not exist anymore is now irrelevant. CCP could choose to pay out in plexes, that would cost them nothing. Some players even suggested that it would be acceptable.

Also I do not condone slacking and "low priority", if something is task, it should be done.

How to pay the prizes
1. Get the data and organize it
- player names are on the team game cards, make a table, add names as first column
- from the accounts information, add the e-mail as second column
- send the e-mail (form sheet with bank account data has been sent already by Dolan), some players are complaining they have not received the mails yet
- add received bank account into the third column

2, Anlyze the data and resolve problems
- is payment info missing for some players? - send mail again, also evemail
- state that if payment info is not received, you will drop plex equivalent on their character hangar in JIta after period of time
- are they not adults to be able to receive money? - drop plex again
- finance department or approval for cash missing - say you are sorry, blame 3rd party, drop plex to palyer hangars
- some other problems? ask us for help or advice, either here or by e-mail, we will help
- perhaps offer to all plex ?

3. Pay
- give the table to nice lady in finance department, she will use e-banking and payment data to send money

How to issue the shirt rewards
1. Get the data and organize it
- player names are on the team game cards, make a table, add names as first column
- from the accounts information, add the e-mail as second column
- send the e-mail with question about shirt size, and shipping data, like address, city, country (has not been asked yet)
- add received info into the third column

2. Anylyze and order the shirts
- send inquiry or see for yourself on the web page about the price of sending the shirts, you can check FedEx, DHL, or another applicable courrier, or Island postal service
- get the quotation from the manufacturer, get the boss sign it
- order the shirts from the manufacturer, those are the same shirts you wore on the FanFest, doesn't need to be anything special, I like your black shirts (its a shirt, not T-shirt), although adding to your standard black shirt the player name and "NEO 2012" is trivial
- shipping address not received? - using the quote prices, convert to plex, drop in Jita hangar, kthnxbye

3. Organize the shipping
- courrier service can pick the shirts from manufacturer, or manufacturer can send directly, or to CCP, whatever is convenient


This can not take 6 months.
