To all Amarrian pilots,

I am an Amarrian and only fly Amarrian ships and I am about to engage into the Right to Rule Amarr Epic Arc...

What was your experience going though this Epic Arc and what Amarrian ships did you use as an Amarrian pilot to be successful?

http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Right_to_Rule

My Harbinger and drones are loaded and ready to go... My EM & Thermals all set... My implants are plugged and my clone is waiting for further orders.

Is this Epic Arc lvl 4 solo-able in an Amarr BS?

Thx, DEFIER.

Harbinger will die in fire, use a BS. Parts of the lvl4 arc is significantly harder than normal lvl4.

Yea, the Harbinger isn't going to cut it. You're definitely going to need a BS. I've done it in an Apoc and an Abbadon, the Apoc was better.

Also, you're going to be facing a hell of a lot of tracking disruption, so plan for that.

Here's a couple of other guides for reference to go with that one:
http://eve-survival.org/wikka.php?wakka=RightToRule4p1
http://lorebook.eve-inspiracy.com/

Read all comments, notes and tips in all three guides first, then plan accordingly before accepting mission.

Good luck.

Did this a few times pre-retribution and once post.
Post retribution If you are soloing this I warn you to be prepared for frustration. Some of the missions have massive TD with the new screwed up AI. For those I'd recommend you get a friend or a sentry fit.

So uh... When those guides said "heavy tracking disruption", it may have been an understatement. I'm using the biggest long range meta 4 beams with radio crystals and the battleships aren't anywhere near the second falloff range. Medium drones fail so hard at breaking the tanks of the big BSs.

Maybe outrun and web the bastards?

Maybe regardless it's going to take a long long time to finish even one of these missions.

I'm on Outclassed Outpost and i guess it only gets worse from here. Perhaps I should make a friend.....

flying an apoc navy with a tracking enhancer 2 and a targeting computer 2 with optimal range btw. So I'd say that should be enough targeting crap in my fit, but maybe I can forego cap stability.......

Errrm, the Cowardly Commander mission in the arc is a lot of fun.
Definitely doable in your Harbinger ........ *whistles innocently*

Just ran the Amarr epic arc, I used a tengu. I could have used an Amarr ship but the heavy TD use of the rats convinced me to use a missile ship. I hear that ccp might do something about npc TD but in the meantime the aggravation of dealing with TD in a turret ship is not worth it imo.

As a new player with amarr BS 3 a year ago, I switched between Apoc and Abaddon to complete the arc, depending on the mission of course. A couple missions required warping out. I didn't have T2 guns. It was painful. They hadn't broken TD at that point. So there you go. It was painful but possible for me. Not an extremely good use of my time. Take that feedback as you will.

Oh and, put the harbinger away. Go look at the DPS you're facing, do your research.

Have the standing requirements changed for the epic missions? Everything I've read states (for the Amarr arc)

Standings required: 5.0 (Either Amarr faction or Ministry of Internal Order)

and I have a 5.06 standing with the Ministry. However, my effective standing with Karde Romu is -4.0 and I'm rejected.

Due to a mispent youth, I do have a bad rating against the Amarr empire (-7.48 raised to -3.98 by Diplomacy 5), but I assumed the standing against the Ministry would be enough. I spend a very boring week doing lvl1 missions to get the 5.06 standing.

I have guess that I'm out of luck but I would like an explaination on what I have misunderstood. Can anybody help??

Rumtum Digger your going to need -2.0 or better with Amarr for any agent over LVL1 to give you a mission this includes the LVL 4 Arc agents. I have heard once you have accepted the first mission the rest don't check.

Things that keep me up at night;  Why do we use a voice communication device to send telegraphs? Moore's Law should state, Once you have paid off the last PC upgrade you will need another.

Thanks, yeah, that's what I've come to release.

I couldn't bear doing enough lvl1 missions to get from -4 to -1.9. It would be endless. I'll have to come up with another plan, maybe involving an alt. Still, it's going to take a while.

run L4s for the MIO. The L4 storylines you'll be getting from that should raise your Amarr faction standing quite quickly. Unlesss you get a lot of MfWP.

I have to get a -1.9 minimum before I can get any agent over lvl1 to talk deal with me, so I don't have the option on the higher reward missions.

Have you run the Amarr starter corp's career agent missions? They're all storylines with quite good faction increases. Run all 5 for one of the starter corps and you should get a decent bump to standings.

Additionally running 16 LVL-4 missions for caldari Storylines (Unless those standings are toast too) will give you derived standings to amarr. And the last chance standings repair via missions is through Khanid agents and the derived standings to amarr.

Yes, my Caldari standings are a mess as well. I had to train Diplomacy to 5 just so I could pass through their space. As I said, mispent youth.

I'll see what difference the career missions make.

Do NOT run it in a turret ship. Drones or missiles. Also, take the low sec path its ridiculously easy.

After the patch we're giving the market some gentle supply restriction, like tying one wrist to the bedpost loosely with soft silk rope. Just enough to make things a bit more exciting for the market, not enough to make a safeword necessary.  -Fozzie

Rumtum; for a start, you could do the SOE epic arc and side with the Amarr in the end.
