Questions and concerns regarding the "EVE: The Second Decade Collector's Edition"

As I dissect the store page for this item, a few important technical questions arise:

Quote:
“Minmatar Rifter” combat frigate 4-port USB hub (Dim: 7”Lx7”Wx2”H) brings one of the most popular ships in EVE history to your real-life desktop.

Which USB tech does the hub contain exactly? Is it USB 2.0, or 3.0? If it's 3.0 then what is its rated speed through each port?
*Do note that I'm not asking what is the general theoretical limit of USB 3.0. As I'm sure that this product has been internally tested to measure its speed when transferring files from a computer into something else that's connected to the hub; what is that speed?

Any cables? It's likely to have a cable to connect the hub to the computer; how long is the cable?

Quote:

  • “The Golden Pod”, radiate luxury during your shipless excursions in this polished gold makeover of the iconic capsule
  • Gnosis Battlecruiser Blueprint, a five-run blueprint copy of the impressive 10th Anniversary gift ship.
  • “Time Capsule”, in-game collectibles celebrating lore, memes and memorable moments
  • “Tash-Murkon Magnate”, the popular Amarr exploration frigate with a striking new skin
  • New account CD Key with 60 days of game time

Do each item contain its own product key or is everything tied to the new account 60-day key? So can I sell the 60-day key and use a different key to redeem everything else?

A "Mystery Code" that will grant owners special, but currently secret, benefits related to future CCP products and events.

Please, tell us exactly -in full detail- what we're getting by buying this item. Having 'secret benefits' is likely to turn away potential costumers.

I dont see anyone being turned away becasue of secret benefits.

If there is a choice between a boat and a mystery box...im choosing the mystery box.
The boat is a boat, but the mytery box could be almost anything...even a boat!

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

I'm sure there are some that are fine with not being fully informed of what they're purchasing. But then again I'd argue there is a general agreement that buyers will feel more comfortable about their purchase by the more information they have gathered on it.

Example: I wouldn't buy a computer mouse without knowing exactly how many buttons it has, and other specs like its DPI input and weight and such. / While there are buyers that do not care about tiny details as long as it works like a mouse.

If you leave out certain details, then all that happens is that the costumers that are highly cautious about their purchases will be lost.

It could also be a fresh steamer partially dissolved in prawn stock and parmesan.

Read the other **** you get. If thats not worth it to you, the extra bonus secret benefits are something you dont even need nor prolly want.

Pretty much this.

Besides, I was able to sell the special Thrasher for a hefty sum, buy 2 PLEX, and have a little left over. So that's kind of a discount already on the stuff you DO want. I imagine I'll be able to do similar stuff with the in-game other items too.

I wonder... Will CCP finally be adding HATS to Eve? I would totally love one of these. Or maybe one of these!

Really looking forward to the Rifter, not really because I need a USB hub but because it will be cool hanging from the ceiling at work with invisible wire and stuff. That may sound geeky, but I work with geeks, and someone already has a to-scale model of our solar system stretching from one end of the office to the other.

The mouse thing doesn't work. You already know what the mouse is mostly like. This is a code that comes with the mouse that can unlock bonuses to the mouse over the next ten years. If you don't want the mouse, maybe don't get it, but don't decide to not get the mouse because it comes with a bonus item..

It doesn't say this on the store does it?

EDIT: Never mind, I see it xD

Well the collectors edition is worth it without the mystery code imo. That's just a bonus.
