Bring it back. It was a good feature for those that used it.

I dont want to use out of game programs.

I understand that they say it was some kind of maintenance thing for the devs. But it worked for years, so they should stop being lazy and make it work.

Why was there no vote to get rid of it?

Because democracies only persist when they can print their own money. CCP cannot do this, and so is forced to use a less transcendent mode of governance.

Not empty (self) quoting.

Since EvE does have it's own music system, you take it wrong. It just prefers not to have it's in game music as part of a "juke box".

After asking for about 30 times on the forums I have got no reply that lets me use and enjoy the game like I have done for 4 years.

- I want to listen to the music.

- I play 4-6 clients so I must be able to selectively turn off all clients but one and have such choice saved for next restarts. Of course turning the music volume slider (a global setting shared by all the clients) to zero will make all the clients muted the next time I restart them and make the next point impossible and even ignoring that point, just restarting the client and fiddle with volume on 4-6 clients every time is super annoying.

- I want to listen to the log in screen music when each client starts, assuming CCP won't remove it. They are masters at removing functioning features and (some times) replace them with broken crap.

I have perfectly done the above for years and years, how do I do that now?

I guess the old adage of no improvement without change certainly holds true here.

True if it's an improvement. The JB was fine as it was so I don't follow how removing it has improved things.

Bring back the Jukebox! I used it quite often, to pick certain tracks for certain moods, its recent disappearance has left me mildly irritated.

They should just link in VLC with LibVLC: http://wiki.videolan.org/Libvlc
They did pretty much the same thing with awesomium and the IGB
