Been around long enough to know that if the biggest grip the community can come up with is a minor hiccup with a new launcher; there is nothing to be upset about.

Well I already knew Malcanis was a nullsec tool, but I suppose we can add CCP apologist to the list.

Seriously how hard is it to say "I'll spend 15 seconds mentioning to CCP at the meeting that they could use some more QA on updates."?

You are apparently unaware of the multiboxing workarounds I'm referring to. I'm rolling with three simultaneously logins off the new launcher, no issues of any kind.

As you can see here the issues with it had nothing to do with the launcher itself, aside from the whole wiping settings thing, which is annoying but can be resolved by restarting it and the client.

General Discussion filled with various unfinished exploration / broken scanning/ T3 banned from high-sec complexes / skill reimbursements / fps drops / choppy inventory UI etc etc threads.

Personally I had no problems with the launcher. I'm mad because people don't realize its 2013 and PC games are suppose to work as reliably as console games given the uniformity of windows and drivers these days.

Yeah look I don't want CSM to go to CCP and say "You are bad, and you should feel bad! Fire half of your staff!"

I just want at least one CSM member to go "CCP, you could use some room for improvement on your QA process."

It can be a simple as saying that. You don't have to take up more than a minute of your time, but you should make a simple point that their QA process could be improved somehow.

Not to apologize and say, "It wasn't their fault. Everyone should feel bad for complaining! Shame on you!"

Well I could tell them that there's some room for improvement in the QA process but QA on the launcher isn't really related, so I'd be wasting my time and theirs.

So, instead, I think I'll have a chuckle with them about the unfortunate timing of the server issues and how it made everyone think the new launcher sucked.
