Issues with the new launcher? Some friendly advice

Take 5 minutes, find yourself the name of one of the current CSM`s and send him/her or all of them a brief EVE mail detailing why you think this is such a major problem and ask them to approach CCP and leverage some of the power they have in trying to get a roll back or a fix. Its one of the reasons the CSM are here, its one of the reasons you voted them in so try and help them do their job and help CCP do theirs.

alternatively instead of pissing off all the CSM members with spam mail, you could just read the sticky.

oh also, if you don't like the launcher; don't use it.

If voicing issues to the player council of the game is considered spam im not sure exactly what the point of them is, are they not there to represent the players and to do that surely they need to know what people are thinking. If they cannot handle that then im not sure the job is actually for them.

Also not using the launcher is fine in principle apart from the fact that CCP have already stated that wont be an option very shortly.

I think allot of the people from the 100 page thread would disagree with you, for the people unable to start the client, who have lost all of their overview/chat window settings and for people struggling to log in with multiple accounts its a major issue. Its such a big issue because it has been created for no good reason.

So every single person from the thread currently running at 115 pages is a stupid person having trouble doing a basic things. There is absolutely no chance that actually this is a real issue affecting a large number of the player base that might need to be sorted.

because with all the crying, the csm are already aware of it. all you're doing is encouraging people to bury good ideas that may be in their inbox by spamming csm members with pointless evemails.

for the last time its not spam, im not asking people to send multiple mails to the same person, im asking them to mail once with their opinions. Also you mananged to avoid answering the question twice.

Personally, do I think all of their whining is unwarranted? No
Is this a CSM level issue? No

The launcher is something that CCP has been working with for over a year now and I'm certain has been discussed with the CSM before. While CCP's implementations and deployment have been rocky the launcher does serve a higher purpose that the CSM as some point has supported.

As for the all the guy that lost settings, yes they're stupid cause:
A) They haven't lost anything actually.
B) Would have known that the settings restore themselves after a second login had they read the sticky.

Just create a shortcut from the ExeFile.exe in the bin folder from where you installed EvE, no launcher needed that way, and you get the logoff option in the client

Its 2013, PC games are supposed to be as reliable as console games. Did you not get the memo!!?

Yes, let all flood the CSMs mailboxes with kindergarten level whines and tantrums in an effort to get CCP to change its mind.

I cant imagine the CSMs tears of laughter if they had to read through 400 mails a day regarding bumping of miners alone.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?
