Changing chars even more difficult....

So to change characters I can no longer log off and sign back in? I now have to quit game/run launcher(which takes forever to load btw) change sign ons and log back in.

Seriously, how hard is it to just make a switch characters button which brings you back to the character screen, especially for changing toons on the same account.

Am I missing something here?

Agreed 100%. This proves CCP literally does zero internal testing when it comes to changes like this.

They also do not understand how royally ******** this whole new login system is for people who have 6+ accounts and have to continually log in and out of them for cynos and such.

managing several account was already a pain in the ass, now it is EVEN WORSE

However, you can still bypass the launcher by running the client directly. The exe for it is located at "C: > Program Files (x86) > CCP > EVE > bin > ExeFile"

Here's another option that I thought about...but, it causes you to have twice as many icons in your taskbar. Leave the launcher up and running. When you close the game, the launcher will still be there and you can relaunch right away without having to enter your password again.

To be honest, this is a stupid ass way to have an easy login to access characters...but,... Someone in CCP must have their head somewhere it shouldn't be... or smoking something that they shouldn't. If they want an example of an excellent login/character access, they should take a look at Rift by Trion. (sorry if I upset anyone by mentioning another product here...but, seriously... the login and character access is a 1000 times better than what we have for Eve)
