o/ Fellow Eve Friends

I have recently just got back into eve
My last corp was a c5 wormhole corp in which I obtained a lot of experience in running and operating a Wormhole for myself,
but due to my large break I need some help in selecting a Wormhole type for myself.

I plan on starting my own POS in my own wormhole with my main and two alts

I will only be running the sites with my main who flies a tengu and or loki, while I have a scout and a hauler

1. What I need to know is what POS I should set up

2. What wormhole to occupy myself in

3. What ship to use for that specific Wormhole.

I am on a budget of about 3 bil, my aim is to be reaching the 10 bil mark within a couple months

Thank you for all of your help.

IMO C3 sites would be your best PVE target. You could do just a C3, but you will only be running the sites that tend to spawn sporadically.

You could get a C4/C3 or a C2/C3 and farm the static, but finding an empty one of those may be tricky.

With the changes in fuel prices that will come in few days and the high danger of eviction if you dont have a large POS ,you should consider the orca nomad option (which will be very fast to fly in new expansion). An alt with an orca with a couple of T3 in its belly and some scout ships you can login you main and mount the t3 and pewpew and salvage while the orca alt is cloaked and then move to onother system.
Just remeber to visit systems that can handle the mass of your orca :P
A solo T3 can run anomalies up to C3 class and some C4 ones if you pimp fit it

I lived solo in a WH with a pos for about a month, best ship is of course a T3 but other than that, a drake or that one mimnitar BC that got changed to use missles whos name I forget. Also you want a cov ops scouter and a hauler and eather a caldari or ammar POS. Caldari POS is great for research and industry but the ammar one can mout the most weapons. The idea is to make yourself look like a target thats not worth the effort. The "Puffer Fish" tactic. Large control towers are hard as hell to bring down without a dread and in a WH its a logistical nightmare. So if you dont have anything terribly valuble in your storage and your not entrenching on someone else's territory, you're more likely to be left alone.

I am really considering the orca nomad option, in which I have the skills to fly a orca
just one question, how would i transport the ribbons out and close down holes to make my wormhole safe?

Thanks for your time

First you have to be able to fly the orca with your alt so it will always be cloaked (except the time you use it for changing ships with your other two toons or traveling or farming anomalies)

Second you better have a Tengu for farming,a venture for some gas if you are into it,at least two frigates for scouting ahead - probing (buzzard and cheetah for example) that your main and the second alt can fly and a salvage ship (better avoid noctis if you can, its somewhat fat )

As for transporting "safely" Twisted your loot,a lot of wh residents use a T3 fited with tank and covert cloak and probe launcher and the interdiction nulifier subsystem

The point in nomad is to never stick very long time in a system. You cant have "your system" without a POS inside and the means to defend it.So you visit a system, you farm, you pvp if you have a bomber or a battlecruiser or a t3 and move to the next system or stay as long as you like until someone sets up a POS P And you better forget collapsing incomings and static wormholes, no one is going to treat your orca gently near a wh.

I forgot to ask do you have one account with 3 toons or do you have 3 diferent accounts so that you can be online with 3 toons at the same time?if you have only one account you better consider joining a wh corporation.

Thankyou Tsopanaa for your post.
I have 3 accounts so i can be online at 3 times,
One alt can always be in the orca,
the other in the salvager ship and the scanner and gas harvester
And the main in a Tengu and a scanner ship

I like the idea of staying in the WH till someone else shows up then move on, tho you mentioned not using a noctis because it is to fat, tho which ship would you recommend?

And would a badger be to risky to get out into known space to sell the ribbons?

if you travel light you can use a noctis but you better use a destroyer
cloak and probe launcher and safespots is the best advice anyone can give in wh space
a badger will take more than half the space of you orca to store it and its slow with no cloak so its not good
better use one of your scanner ships to take the loot out than a badger
try to always fit a probe launcher in your ships and expect to loose a scanner ship at some point and get poded so always have a second prober alt and probes in you orca
maybe you should try some day trips in wh space so you can learn-remember some things
dont you even dare to enter wh space before you read the sticky posts-guides in this forum section. Good luck Big smile

if possible id keep a cloaky hauler in high sec , once you have lootz and a k space connection run a toon out pick up cloaky hauler(which are now imune to cargo scanners) fill it wirh ammo , paste, drugs , probes, drones any resupply basicly , wArp ro orca and swap upplys for loot, run loot out. or use a covert ops to run loot to closest station from k space exit , then red frog loot to jita

I suggest find a C5/C3, C2/C3 preferably with terrible bonuses, ie blackhole, empty or residents in different timezone.
Don't bother with ladar.
Have an alt in a cloaked noctis and your main in a T3. For ammo, just make periodic runs with a covert ops transport packed with gsc's. Store spare ammo in safespots and your good to go. Sleeper loot & salvage barely takes any space. Sell blue loot at npc stations and courier contract the mnr's.
