So yea, why would a simple update for the EVE launcher wipe my in-game settings (i.e. overview).

Also, what happened to the Single Sign On for the forums, account management, etc.

If you restart the launcher it returns the overview to how it was before the new launcher. If that makes sense

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.

So why the process of logging in twice. What prevented the settings from staying the same the first time I logged in after the update.

They coded in the wrong path to eve's settings directory that's used for the first launch Ugh After the first time, it uses the correct path (guessing the 1st time it launches it uses a different bit of code). It's still sort of broken though. After logging off and exiting the game/launcher completely there are still multiple instances of 'launcher.exe' still running in the background on my PC that prevent the launcher from starting up again. I (and probably many others) have to manually go into the Windows task manager and kill those leftover 'launcher.exe' processes before the launcher will work again. And I have to do this every time I start the client, whether it's for Tranquility or the Sisi test server.
