Would you be willing to make a new character called Inigo Montoya and become the games most deadly meme?

I would keep you in purifiers for an age...

Alas no - besides there are already an alarming amount of Inigo Montoya chars in game, some 19 based on the quick searches I did.

If the OP is real, reading that post made me feel like my winky was too small and that I haven't been playing the game right. Seriously.

Deklein is heaven for solo gankers! Just look at all of those juicy ratter/anom kills he got... and most of them didn't even fight back! TwistedTwistedTwisted

If I may be so bold as to offer some ship selection and fitting advice to those setting autopilot for VFK-IV; you can't go wrong with faction/deadspace modules to give you that extra "punch" in curb-stomping those clueless goonies. A faction or storyline cloak can make it that much easier to avoid the impotent homeland defense gangs that will surely form up after your next "kill". Pirate

Best "ganking" ships for goonie tear extraction: CryCryCry
Purifier - preferably fit with deadspace afterburner and republic fleet disruptor or maybe a domi/ts scram Twisted
Cynabal - load it up with faction/deadspace goodies and the best cloak you can find. Laugh as you evade gatecamps.
Tengu - cloaky and nullified. load up with faction/deadspace. You'll never die, so don't skimp on the implants. 100mn afterburner fits are also a wise choice.
Loki - see Tengu

Hope this helps. See you in space o7Bear Fly safe.

Have there been any kills? All I have seen linked in game to me lately have been Goons on the winning side.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

Do you really think Goons giving flying fart about one guy in a stealth bomber?

The OP's investment in time and the list of kills he posted is an impressive feat of solo PVP work, especially in a stealth bomber, which is not easy to solo in. For that he certainly deserves a nod of respect (even Goons can appreciate someone who puts his balls on the chopping block and plays the game!)

But frankly..... look at the facts. He is here asking for people to help him out buying a new stealth bomber. Goons, in contrast, are down in Delve in fights like

this http://www.eve-kill.net/?a=kill_related&kll_id=17895722

and this http://www.eve-kill.net/?a=kill_related&kll_id=17909040

I sometimes think people don't understand the scale of nullsec alliances. Losing a ratting tengu is embarrassing and irritating to the person who lost it but on an alliance level nobody even notices.

I agree with both of your assertions.

First, as I've already said in this thread the guy is doing a great job and his solo pvp skill is definitely impressive.

Second, most goons and for that matter most members of nullsec alliances fly ships that are literally free for them due to the ship reimbursement programs that have been standard in nullsec for years. I cannot speak to the particulars of any other nullsec entity, but within Goonswarm any given player may have a literally infinite number of frigates and cruisers gifted to him at no cost whatsoever; may purchase on alliance contracts a fully fitted ship that is for sale at around ~80% Jita price and for which he will be reimbursed ~100% Jita price when it dies; has access to a huge infrastructure and transportation network that makes manufacturing, marketing, ratting, ship construction, starbase mining, and many other forms of commerce and industry readily available and reasonably safe; and, need merely x up in an intel channel to summon any of a dozen intrepid Sky Captains like myself, as well as a horde of rabid newbies and bitter vets, whenever bad guys show up.

It's a great thing to boast about a few kills, but for every one of them there are hundreds if not thousands of other ratting tengus, ratting carriers, r64s, and so on, chugging along, contributing to taxes, and making it so that whatever is lost can be replaced and everyone can have what they need.

Space communism is amazing, innit?

It was most likely a bot that didn't use the escape button when a non-blue came into local.

This is true and the very reason why I ask my fleets NOT to put in for reimbursement if they can afford not to, which is something I never do unless I lose a very expensive ship.

Why? becasue I believe if there is nothing to lose then there is nothing to gain.

The risk of losing a ship that you have to pay to replace gives the pilot (generally) a bigger adrenaline rush then losing a ship that you couldn't care less about.

case in point. If I'm solo roaming in a hurricane I literally get a bigger rush from an engagement than I do if I put a dread on the field? why? becuse that hurricane is mine but the dread sort of belongs to alliance.

Last time I lost a hurricane I think I was out 30 mil by the time I replaced it. Last time I lost a dread, I MADE 100mil by the time I replaced it.

Just saying.

Ship reimbursement is excellent in times of war but makes people lazy the other 99% of the time.

A T2 rating fitted Tengu will 2 shot at best any bomber uncloaking unless it's a bot, a stupid, or a combination of 2.

Any Machariel/Vindicator/Golem flown correctly by someone behind his computer will shred to pieces whatever bomber only with his drones while still killing rats, the bomber is just a bonus rat, if they don't it's either a bot a stupid or the combination of 2

You see guys in Cloak exploration lokis, this means 4x425mm autos with 2 TE's for a max range with RF EMP to 20km +/- and 340dps, XL-ASB fitted, killing ships worth of billions with 3 to 8x the loki DPS, you have to ask yourself why this happens and why it's good it happens.

Oh no. You forced me to copy and paste the Kum Ba Ya starfish story. One kill may not make a difference to the Goonswarm hive as a whole, but....

A young girl was walking along a beach upon which thousands of starfish had been washed up during a terrible storm. When she came to each starfish, she would pick it up, and throw it back into the ocean. People watched her with amusement.

She had been doing this for some time when a man approached her and said, “Little girl, why are you doing this? Look at this beach! You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!”

The girl seemed crushed, suddenly deflated. But after a few moments, she bent down, picked up another starfish, and hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. Then she looked up at the man and replied,

“Well, I made a difference to that one!”
