Dear CCP,

Today i noted new "cool" thing :)

When you have 2+ locked target and when one of target killed their icon starts blinking for 1 sec. Its nice. BUT.

If i have 2 weapon group and 1-st group kill target after instantly activating second group system tell you: "You have no target, please select target". It continues till "blinking-dead-target" finally disappear. Then all modules that you activated before applied on the next target in queue.

This is example

http://ssmaker.ru/22b584a3.jpg

As you see 1-st target dead and blinking. I have crosshair while activating 3-4 weapons in the high rack. When 1-st target disappear, modules (that i activated while i have in select object "already-dead-blinking" target) will automaticly apply to second target.

It is realy bad. In most fleet fight people have 2 weapon groups. And if it will take even 1 additional second to apply weapon... Well it gonna be bad :D

This is my suggestion:
After target killed and start blinking system will automaticly and instantly select next target at targets rack (like it do ATM at TQ:
http://ssmaker.ru/836954df.jpg

at screen selected 1-st target. If i kill it it will disappear instantly and system will select target 2 in selected object. If "new" system will do the same will be cool).

PS: Sorry for bad english but i hope you understand what im talking about :D

About Relic and Data sites loot...

CCP, its ridiculous! I spend 1,5 hour for scanning, jumping and searching for 2 relic sites and 1 data sites and it brings me...26kk :)
22.5k from 1 relic site, 3.5kk from data site... Aaaaaand...110 000 isk from another relic site

Selected items drops from whole relic site
http://ssmaker.ru/bde8b36a.jpg

This is from data site
http://ssmaker.ru/46f1ef28.jpg

And this is from another relic site
http://ssmaker.ru/ca27e482.jpg

Drop too random. The risk isn't proportional to an award.

At relic or data sites there is no interesting events (which could justify the such random low drop)... I just warp in, approach conts, hack them, grab "green cross" and thats all... There is no mysterious of exploring.

So, is that new explore some sort of profession? Becuase with that isk\hour it isnt. Or new explore is for...explore, to visit interesting places, to see some interesing stuff and events, to learn more about lore? Becuase atm there is no interesting event at relic and data sites :(

The Big Flashing Hull warning that does not shut up, and can not be turned off is really not cool.

The overall effect when I am loosing a fight is good, Shield, Armor then Hull warning, followed by the transition to my Pod, but when I am at
99% Hull,
100% Armor , and it is still filling up my screen , and being annoying ... the effect is becomes one of an annoying feature, not a good one.

The Logic that activates the Warning needs to be aware of the other two layers of protection, Ie. only trigger if incoming damage will further reduce my Hull.
Maybe clear the warning if armor goes back above 25% ?

Agreed. It needs to be looked into. And yes, the Hull Critical must shut off once the armor / shields have been restored. Sometimes I fly with hull damage in the ship, not bothering to repair it since it's not even 1% scratched. Mostly from the pve mission running where I do something wrong.

I do not want my ship to keep flashing just because it has a tiny winy little scratch on the window. I can't speak for everyone else, but I am sure this applies to many more players out there.

I like the new skill changes. I get to pick up all 4 carriers and 8 command ships for free! Dreadnaughts will be available shortly!!

The navy drake looks nice, should be a good ship. I REALLY like the navy raven changes. This ship is going to be a beast. The changes to cruise missile are nice, however remove the increase in explosion radius. It was 300 and is now 330, to give a boost to damage it should have decreased to 270. The original dev post about the changes said we would get a 30% increase in damage part by increasing the damage of the missile (25%) and part by a bonus to explosion radius.

While the new gate warp animation is interesting, after about 10 jumps you wish it would just stop. The problem I have with the new sequence is that it changes the camera from where I had it set!!! It should remember the camera setting from before the jump and PUT IT BACK!!!

I have noticed that if you use the undock option from the ship menu you can NOT abort the undock. The undock can only be aborted if you use the new undock button. Oh, move the enter captains quarters button away from the undock button.....move it further up the screen.

It is interesting that ore and ice mining are becoming more equitable. A well equipped Hulk can mine 2600 m3 of ore or 2400 m3 of ice per minute, with orca boost and mining forman mind link.

The new high sec ice anomalies should be added to most systems just like ore belts, it will help out with the "What do I do when the ice is gone?" wails. Miners can just move to another system. My brief test showed that an anomaly contained enough ice for 1 miner for 30 hours. They will deplete quickly. Having ice in adjacent systems will help with the competition aspect of mining.

For null sec there should be multiple anomalies in a system. Each anomaly should contain just one kind of ice and should re-spawn immediately when exhausted. This will help large mining ops. The re-spawn could also be tied to the industry level of the system, say level 2 or 3 would cause instant re spawn, 0 four hour re-spawn, 1 one hour re-spawn.

The ice compression blueprints should all be changed to take 20 units of ice and produce 20 units of compressed ice per run. Currently 20,000 m3 of mercoxite is compressed into 1 block of compressed mercoxite in one run. The change to the ice compression blueprints would bring the times to compress 20,000 m3 of material in sync.

The dial can be changed to fit your alerting needs. If you want to set it to 25% hull, 1% hull, 0% hull (!) you can.

I'm consistently getting a "socket closed" and disconnection from the test server within a minute of logging in. It was working fine yesterday, and TQ is also working fine.

Edit: Nevermind, seems to be working now. There was a period of like 20 minutes where it would consistently kick me with a "socket closed", though.

Would it be possible to give the players the ability to turn off the camera panning to and following whatever they click on in the overview?

It looks nice sure, but if I am rapidly changing targets I really don't like the camera bouncing around all over the place. It becomes disorienting and annoying. Also I just don't like the feeling as if I don't have control over my camera.

I looked in the options for a way to disable it but I didn't see anywhere that I could. If I have missed it please let know.

So far I'm liking what I am seeing in Odyssey but this one camera issue is something that really should be addressed.

This feature has been in the game since Retribution was released 6 months ago.

To turn off the camera tracking, press either C or on the selected item window click the little left hand icon and deselect tracking camera.

Your scanner button traps my mouse. Click scanner button, all clicks are treated as if they are within the scanner radial menu. Can only get out by pressing Escape. Bug report submitted.

OH, and the scanner overlay doesn't work as of the May 24 patch. And scanning gives Probe Communication Failed message (even though scanning kind of works, except that I can't warp to any of the anomalies, it just says no signatures found).

The stargate animation is cool and all, but the sounds aren't correctly synched.

The traditional stargate swoosh noise plays a very noticeable length of time before the camera starts moving through the jump tunnel, which creates a disconnect between what we're hearing and what we're seeing.

When i first heard that Odyssey was about exploration I was really excited cause it is my main gameplay style atm.

I imagined that this would have been the time when finally we would get new plexes and we also had the wrong ones fixed (do you know all the useless drone plexes and the many others with nothing interesting in them ...)

Wen i first heard about discovery scanner I though that we would have had something really new: imagine a new device that allows you (for example) to detect anomailes and signatures in other systems or that tells you how many systems away from you are the good sigs... so you need to move around triangulating them...

When I heard about hacking minigame I though something where the rl player intelligence would have had a part, not something where u just train in-game skills and then fast click around...

At the end are we getting something really new and worth exploring?
To me this expansion just seems a very little iteration of whats already in the game, CCP need to do much better to improve PVE epxerience and to not discourage solo players that are one of the main sources of new players.

PLaying this game since three years now, I was very excited at the beginning but after three years of essentially small iterations I'm getting bored and bored more. If nothing really new will come out soon, I'll most probably switch to Star Citizens or Elite as soon as they will come out.

New Undock Button is kinda better then it was about a week ago.

Current on TQ it's on the bottom Neocom like we all know.

Week ago or so ago on Sisi it was an inch or so and took up a great deal of space from the station window. It was just in the way and way too big as shown in the following picture.

http://i.imgur.com/mKn7Pgx.png

Now on Sisi today it's moved up above buttons, seems a tad smaller and just a little more thought out. Still kinda to big and still takes up quite a bit of space but I believe better.

http://i.imgur.com/KgsPsmk.png

Please give us the option to move it back to our Neocom or at least maybe move it up some more making the station icon (in my example picture it would be the Blood Raider icon) between the two buttons splitting them. It's still a lot of room to take away from someone's ships/items and other information services.

Please, can you add a option to disable the "Enter Captains Quarters" button? I don't want to enter the CQ ever and the placement directly besides the "Undock" button is... unfortunate.

hi

i don't know this is proper topic

undocks buttons should be at side bar not at station sevices bar, or at leat should be at this two pleaces, or should be option to change position of them, becouse i very often have minimize station service, and now i need to make one click to undock, if it will be at station serives window, i must, re-minimize window, and this is two click, for me, now at sisi this is break.

CCP: What the hell?
Given the amount of complaining over the camera panning after entering a system, and the fact that you recognized this was bad and removed it, why did you go ahead and add it to the death animation?

Forced camera panning/focus is bad, it's irritating, and it's undesirable, especially if it's the result of something the player did not initiate. Get rid of it.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)
