Hopefully im not the only one who thinks the Rokh is useless.
In fact, in the T1 Battleship class I think Caldari is poor compared to others.

If you look at the other Races, they all have a selection of good Battleships.

The Caldari have the Raven as a pvp ship and 2 support ships in the Scorpion and Rokh.
The Rokh just isnt good in combat considering its price tag which is around the same as the Abbadon.

Caldari pilots basically have to pay for a Navy Ship, or even a T2 ship to match up with the other races T1 Ships.
I dont know how my opinion on this will be met, but all I want is for CCP to SAVE THE ROKH!

Id suggest Buffing the Rokh as a sniper and introducting a T2 or Navy Rokh that bonus's towards blasters.
That would seriously boost Caldari hybrid usage, because as it stands, its useless.

I was under the impression that the Rokh was already boosted/treated as a sniper?

The Rokhtopus is win, surely? 8 Miner II's? What's not to like?

And it's rather good as a smart bomb platform, from what I saw last night.

Niche perhaps, but definitely useful.

Is it too much to ask for a ship to be good at what it was designed to use though? lol

Rokh is great at what it was designed to use. Antimatter with an optimal of 100+ km with rails is pretty damn good. Unfortunately it was designed to do something that has no modern tactical value.

The rokh needs to lose a low slot and gain a mid, that might make it via le at pvp

The Rokh is one ship that suffers with the current probing/warp mechanics, so the long range sniping role it's designed for doesn't exist.

The new T2 high damage ammo for rails will have 25% tracking bonus. On top of that all hybrids get 10%? more damage and lesser fitting requirements .

It is a hybrid ship - hybrids are getting buffed - rokh is getting a buff together with all the other hybrid ships.

You guys inability to adapt this ship to the current situation is pathetic and thus you people have no place in eve the rokh is a great ship as is your just to stupid to see it.

T2 neutrons with null gives you a good 40km of shooty shooty room before you start hitting double falloff and things get iffy or you can have good range and damage with antimatter

along with a decent tank to boot and a MWD

What more could a person want

Oh wait eve whingers today everything must suit them to the letter with no way to adapt so they die and cry

As rude as this person is, he is right. If you aren't fitting the biggest baddest blasters on it with a MWD, then your doing it wrong.

Yeah no kidding.

Optimal range bonus doesn't solve hybrid issues. Who thought this **** up?

More range on blasters with no damage bonus and you may as well fly Amarr.

More range on rails is just redundant. Lacking both damage and tracking bonus with rails is just silly. I'd rather have a sniperthron.

What does "WINGING" mean in that sentence?

Because I don't think that word means what you think it means, regardless.

I never really understood why the Rokh demanded such a high price tag. I'd speculate it's simply because the mineral requirements of the Tier 3 battleships are larger in quantity.

But I love the CONCEPT of the Rokh. In reality, it's sad because many other ships are used in lieu of it because they can do the job better (more dps, better tracking, higher speed etc).

Being able to field a Blokh, FINALLY, would make me happy on levels most players wouldn't understand. I mean, the nickname rocks. It's a Rokh. With blasters. Which might work, finally.

I have my fingers crossed. I love this ship and want it to have its time in the sun(s) of Eve.

First come smiles, then lies. Last is gunfire.
