Actually if you check my employment history and check the date that I posted the thread, I was indeed in an NPC corporation. So the thread was locked in error.

At either rate, any "point" you're trying to make is irrelevant and you're giving the newbies of EVE a good crash course on forum trolls.

Xui may be strange, but I really cannot see how he would be scamming people by giving them money.
I guess newbros will just have to decide who to trust.
The person giving them free money.
Or "Minmatar Citizen160812" member of "The LGBT Last Supper". Cause yeah you sound like the epitome of trustworthy.

EVE Online: The only game where you'll be seriously accused of scamming... by giving stuff away.

I'm way more trustworthy than a guy asking for screenshots. Send me any amount of isk and I'll double it and send it back. THEN you'll see who's really trustworthy. No screen shots needed.

lol - mmmkk. So you go by how a character name sounds to you? "I can't believe Trusty McTrusterson awoxed our corp - I...I trusted him! I mean, who wouldn't with a name like that?"

I apologise profusely for casting any doubt on your obviously fine and benevolent character, OP. How dare I think you have any but the purest altruistic motives? How foolish of me to even presume in the slightest that just because EVE has been full of scams from its beginning and players have passed down their often hard-won advice to little folks like me that you in any way would be anything less than completely trustworthy. After all, Who am I to question the Queen of Rens, the King of Jita, or even the Prince of Dodixie?

So that's where the ISK came from.

I returned from the second exploration tutorial and saw a much larger than expected balance. When I loaded the data from my transactions I saw your donation. Now I find this post.

Thanks. I am taking advantage of a buddy invite however so would not have requested the offer.

If there is a side to this I don't see then I will have learned something. I'm not to proud to keep the funds to advance the pace of my development in the game, but I still plan to go through all the tutorials as well.

Thanks again for the kick start.

The only thing I was wrong about was assuming you would pick up on the sarcasm. Sorry, I should have put in a /sarc or something.

Big thanks coming from here :) Barely been five or ten mins since i sent mine across and already it's popped up in game. I'm aware of the scam nature that takes place in this game, espeically preying on the newbie's, but honestly so far I haven't found anything relating to this that's a negative aspect, so big thanks again Xiuxien.

Sometimes people just want to help newbies and have a positive impact on the game instead of tearing down sand castles.

I actually agree with him. I will admit there are characters i dont trust because of what co...erm alliance they are in, but saying that you would not trust someone just because they created a character that got their name petitioned because it offended someone.

Lets use an example.. Say that you would not trust someone named.. gah.. Satans Nightmare (sounds like a terrefying name right? Lol ). Satans Nightmare could be the kindest and most trust worthy person you ever meet, IF you give them a chance.

Then lets say that you run into someone named... Grandma Betsy! Now everyone loves the idea of grandmothers, but THIS grandmother might be robbing you for everything you have instead of giving you candy whenever you stop by Blink

Point is..Because you call him out as a bad person that cant be trusted, make sure you do some proper research to back up those statements. And not just use posts you disagree with as an example. Especially not when you are trying to prove that you are a "nice guy" your self, that has no intentions but to help out new players.

I actually wouldn't trust someone named "Betsy". That just screams "Mittens' Right Hand Man".

Oh this one is gonna be funny if those aren't alt accounts saying thank you. I hear if you buy a few PLEX and sell them for isk it will cover the "security deposit" to join goonswarm...they have a website and all...totally legit as long as you don't look like a spy.

They'll even move all your stuff to null for free.
