Login Problems! is the problem local or server related?

All those crossposts GM, DEVs giving out workarounds. none of it works for me! Mac Steam User here.

So is the problem local or server related? Should I just wait or is there something real I need to fix localy?

Such a mess.

Yes, CCP has hinted that the problem is server-side:

That is correct. Our web servers handling the client update process and version checking (used by the repair tool and the EVE Launcher) are malfunctioning to some degree resulting in long waiting times on requests and many timeouts. As end result the repair tool will often not properly update the client in a timely fashion and the EVE Launcher will show an offline status. According to my information the EVE Launcher itself is not "broken" but the services required by the EVE Launcher are.

Our developers are still working hard to fix this issue.



Also, apparently the workarounds do not work for Mac... at least that is what i gathered from other threads. So you probably have to wait till it is fixed.

Im having the same issue.

Since this is an issue caused by CCP were going to be compensated I hope? My two accounts have very little left in training queue and will just be sitting inactive if this problem isnt fixed.

I am also missing out on a significant amount of ISK from not being able to update my market orders.
