or you could just run the exe like every one else who has been playing all day without issue instead of clogging up the forums with more useless threads.

"MMO launches new features which contains a couple of bugs" Isn't a story worth firing someone over, hell its barely even a story.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

One does not fire for simple human mistakes. In soft & hardware tech errors happen on a daily basis, most go unnoticed, a few don't. A honorable mention on an ingame item should be enough.

this is hardly a major issue to fire someone over. I dont even think anyone was fired when CCP managed to delete the boot.ini from every computer in the universe

Can we just blame Tuxford and move on already?

First no one is getting fired because they get your money anyway.

It's not like shutting down a store and losing sales.
They own you and you both know it.

Second thing is people who get fired from other companies come to CCP.
It's not the other way around.
Have you not read how much less they pay their employees compared to other developers?
The employees work at CCP for the love of EVE not to actually make any money.

If you really want to get someone fired you'll have to start by cancelling your accounts.

Launching an broken product that disrupts their clients usage of a product they pay for, seems like grounds for someone to be fired.

so who is getting fired?

Lol no, it's Iceland they send you out on an ice floe to think about what you've done.

Confirming that heads should roll over the inability of some people to log into a videogame. Also, is the OP recruiting? Sounds like the kind of person I'd love to work for. Roll

No, your rights end in optimal+2*falloff

They fire no one for honest mistakes, but when they **** up royally, they get 'launched' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msXRFJ2ar_E

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

OP is an ingreatful bastard

no where in the EULA does it say that CCP is obliged to provide you with constant service

right now you just sound like an entitled ass, instead of asking about who is getting fired how about you get a job in the first place

They should all go drink some beers after this is fixed.

If everyone who made a mistake got fired for it, no progress would be made on anything.

Now might be a good time to work on another hobby. If you don't have another hobby, then get one, stat. Guitars are cheap. Books are cheaper. The great outdoors is free!

I predict no-one at all will be fired.

The approved punishment for a crap launch is to haul all involved parties into a lengthy series of "Lessons Learned" meetings, followed by SOP update training.

By the time they're done, several people will be thinking that 'being fired' was less painful.

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short. But scream it at them in Esperanto, because life is also terrifying and confusing.
