That's actually what most of us do now. Pews in wormhole space, even including ganks, are often sparse, so we use random exits to drop in on low or null sec past their gate camps. Explains why some of the anchor WH Space alliances, like VoC, have all their kills in null.

That might yet happen, but I think the best way to start forming up to that sort of thing would be to start rolling with people without asking for too much obligation to change the way most players spend the rest of their time. We all know living in a WH changes things, and I'd like to fly with a lot of pilots without asking them to change their eve-style that much right off the bat.

Any empire based pilot joining this setup can continue to play the game as they do now, but would be free to join a WH team when action is found, even the pve aspect of WHs is a great breakup from mission running or empire exploration, and the potential for PVP gives it that lowsec element of fun without the hotdrops.

I would recommend running with cheaper ships at start (I'm not about to jump into a WH with a faction fit T3 with a bunch of strangers hehe) and as we fly together and benefit from each other, use the earnings to upgrade the ships and get to know each other. Any op would have a pilot standing by off the WH anyways to watch for any side-party's anyone tries to bring in, I have sufficient alts to handle a little bit of defensive scouting.

I'll be replying by eve-mail to those interested with the channel name, just to avoid every tom **** and harry from popping in, this is for pilots who are actually interested in trying this out.

So again, post interest or eve mail me if you want to try this out with me :)

Edit: decided to give out in-game channel: Flying Naked

This has actually been my primary activity in Eve since wormholes came out. We stopped doing it the first time when I got banned and then again when low sec outside FW space just completely dried up. At some point I want to try again and target null sec.

To the OP: send me an evemail if you see something interesting. I'm primarily interested in evicting low class wormhole residents with capitals that can't evac. :)

wow what a strange thread...

It's like a barbarian rocking up to a civilised country and saying: "hey guy, I'm thinking of setting up a raiding party to loot your cities and **** your women but I don't have the manpower... Will you help me?"

We live in a WH with a Null static, chosen for just this reason. It's less fun than it should be, because most of null is empty. As in, there's more life in a chain of dead C4s than you'll see on your average null roam. What's more, when you do find something it's probably one lone ratter who runs for cover when he sees that "+1 local". When it's not, and you get a fight, odds are if there's even a whiff of a loss in the null's side, they hop on their bat-phone and your one dozen pilot cruiser gang gets a couple of carriers plus support hot-dropped on them. I'm not sure it this is the result of serious risk aversion on the nullies' part, or that their PvP types are so bored that when someone does ask for some help the whole Alliance logs on for the chance to shoot something.

All-in-all, most of the time w-space is more interesting.

It is not so easy to find active (and rdy for peew) wh corporations out of hi sec, just so you know. Wh people do not fly so careless as they did some years ago.

Make sure you have lots of scanning ships, with pilots who know what they are doing and pray that your fleet doesnt get bored before you get the first kill.

I love how you're comparing a Wormholes titled section of an internet spaceships forums to a civilized country.

Also, not everyone browsing through this section are actually living in Wormholes, just those who are interested in the subject of Wormholes... but that's all the explaining I'll be doing on that, time-enough wasted I think.

Back to the actual topic at hand though, think about the group as sort of an incursion group, except the focus is on Wormholes, incursion FCs tend to get to know rather quickly which pilots they can trust to get the job done and have a running black-list of pilots who don't cut it or are not there to help, this would be similar in nature to that and we can always have multiple groups running ops in different wormholes anywhere in empire/lowsec, hell even Nullsec if they want to organize by means of my channel.

Wormhole locations still wouldn't be broadcasted over the main channel, perhaps a nearby system for fleet formation prior to starting the op and only those fleeted would know the actual location, thus reducing the chance of trouble makers to set up a trap for running ops, but we'll be vigilant on that front anyways.

Hell what am I waiting for, we'll be running enough in-fleet security I'm going to post the name of the channel.

It's 'Flying Naked'
I base it and the corp name on the idea of raiding Wormholes without our own POS (which we may do occasionally), and thus being somewhat naked. I'll be adjusting a few of my posts to reflect that the channel name is now public.

I apologize that I won't be there soon as I'm on my way to work and then traveling for a couple days but I will be active in that channel and when I find a WH to look into I'll be posting it there. Looking forward to seeing some of you around!

Lots of mails have come in and people are joining the channel :) I'll be on more this week to join in and run some ops if no one else has any up.

I'm not sure what our guest line up is on DTP, but if Bronya hasn't booked anyone already, we could have you on so you can plug your channel and mission statement.

It would be a pleasure to have a "alternative outlook" on WH adventures.

Hit me up in the "DTP Podcast" channel if you're interested.
