Anyone got the new launcher update? (cannot connect)

seem bugged to me, slow to start and just show

Same here.... and I was just logged into the game when I tried to swap over to my market alt.

Yeah. Funky. I was able to use it to log in with one client, but then whenever I tried to change the log-in name to open my second account, it defaulted back to the first account's name. Now, when I open it, it shows no connection. Weird.

Clicked launcher > get exception > click start eve anyway > see incompatible protocol > close > relaunch > launcher updates > offline mode > useless

Huh. I've got the Client pinned to my Taskbar. Along with the launcher.

9/10 times I never use the launcher. Or I open the client, there's an update, it closes and opens the launcher to patch.

same error message. cant start the game!

on my laptop the new launcher worked the first time, but froze after i clicked something. now i get the error message too.

how to start without lauchner?
EDIT: found it: run "\CCP\EVE\bin\ExeFile.exe" to start without launcher

What an effing joke, do they not test these things out before release? Mine won't install, download, apply or start and I've encountered every error and exception mentioned in this thread. Aweful testing management? Problems for no reason? Must be typical ccp release. Guess its time for Minnie bs 5 and come back in a month; if I can log in by then.

Anyone in CCP heard of actually ******* TESTING before applying to production systems? Oh and wtf is your laughably named "QA" in all of this?

Yup, I got this too. Launcher seems to be quite slow as well. On the plus side it did download and install correctly..
