Good evening. I would like to ask four questions.

1. Now that Midular has died, who will become Chieftain of the Sebiestor?

2. How will her successor be chosen?

3. What will become of all the Matar who make the Federation their home?

4. What if anything must be done by either side to save this alliance of free peoples?

Guilty verdict against Broteau for a start. Wether he is actually guilty or not dosent seem to matter to some people.Sentence that would be given in the Republic if the accused was found guilty.

Maybe start to help save the alliance

I can attest from personal experience that at least some of the Matar who were citizens of the Federation (including myself) have started fleeing to Republic space; some for mourning, some seeking solace...

...Some to be on the right side of the conflict, should something start.

Tradition defines and shapes a person, but should be evaluated frequently; far too often does Tradition no longer help, but hobble a person and stunt their growth. Especially a Capsuleer.

Someone.

We're talking about succeeding a Ray of Matar. Anyone in their right mind would realize that trying to fill those shoes will make them look like clowns.
So, we'll probably end up with whoever was stupid enough to raise their hand when asked "Who knows how to ride a bicycle ?"

They'll live, face the hardships and joys of existence, and die.

Good question.

I don't think it would be fair to expect anyone to fill the role of Karin Midular as a Ray of Matar. As a chieftain certainly but not as a Ray. I am sure there are systems in place for this, and I have a feeling we will hear something soon. But it is just that, a feeling.

Fear not this night. You will not go astray. Though shadows fall still the stars find their way.
