Considering t0rfifrans' new devblog, I'd like to point out that the plural of 'forum' is 'fora' in latin - not 'forii'.

kthxbye.

OT: what's the plural for Aurum? Aura? Or it's uncountable (Singularium tantum)?

I usually use 'forums' as it could be considered an English word, given its wide use.

You're right on the second one. Aurum has no plural in Latin as it describes an element. There's no 'Aura' in Latin just as there's no 'Golds' in English.

I've always liked that video. Reminds me of my old Latin classes with only slightly less threatening of bodily harm.

It's not all that relevant, but there is an older form of the word "forum" as second declension masculine "forus, fori, m."

Sorry to be mean but it is used in the ablativ pl / locativ pl (foris)

The sentence "romanes eunt domus" is taken from a movie and it is well known that the sentence is wrong :)
Poor monty python was trolled because of it.

Romani,ite domum!

Nemo ante mortem beatus dici potest.

The advantage of a bad memory is that one can enjoy the same good things for the first time several times.

One will rarely err if extreme actions be ascribed to vanity, ordinary actions to habit, and mean actions to fear.

Hmm...

What really bothers me is why it needs to be plural at all. I thought CCP only had this one forum for discussions...

I prefer Forii, and since latin is a dead language, by law, we can do to it whatever we like.

Why do people still use Latin?

Half the morons here haven't learned English as a first language Blink
