Nice, but isn't that just a bit of a ripoff of the Sulaco, from Aliens? I hope someones lawyers don't get narked! What?

edit: it's also quite similar to the command ship from near the end of Tron.

Sorry, no - quite a bit of difference - http://images.wikia.com/aliens/images/2/2f/Sulaco-ir3.jpg

The original shulaco design was to *mimic* the pulse rifle looks from the marines, so it gave the idea of be a huge weapon in space.

This looks epic fun - I just pray CCP doesn't ruin the game play by enforcing long range bonus and forced split weapons... See how well it works for Moa and Ferox in everyday pvp Cool

Not sure I like the design, but I could get used to it, I suppose.

However, if the Naga remain the only BC whose weapons are boosted by only one ship bonus, I have zero interest in using one.

Weld two drakes together at the tips and you get The Tuning Fork of Doom!

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

Well, if someone had shown that ship to me and said it's a Rokh, I would have believed it. Without checking ingame, it looks like a Rokh to me. Which isn't bad, the Rokh is a cool-looking ship.

The Oracle looks way greater though, which is also good because Amarr > Caldari Twisted

The Naga eh?

Can anyone at CCP enlighten me why they've stepped away from the avian names for Caldari? Especially with Naga being deity-like, surely that would have been a better fit with Gallente?

A Caldari ship capable of failing hard in three separate range brackets! Now that's what I call flexibility.Big smile

Looks nice though.

I liked your post because I like Caldari.

I unliked it because you decided to put fail Rails instead of Caldari Cruise Missiles.

Cruise Missiles run at the same speed as heavies meaning that this ship could have kept up and fought along side Caldari Drake fleets.

10% Rail Dmg is not gonna do much between Alpha Arty and Scorch. Cruise Missiles could have been a fleet weapon.

Another bastardized blasterized Caldari fail boat with Torp Launchers so it can station camp too. Great.

That Ship became the basis for UNSC Ship designs in Halo.

They based there entire UNSC Military after the example set up in Aliens.

Defined the Space Marine Genre.

Ever shot a cruise missile from long range?

If so, it probably hasn't hit the target yet. Good luck with that fight!

Looks good. Loving how the art team kept the original appearence on the whole but made it a bit less boxy.

Now let's just pray they un-nerf the bonuses and it might be worth flying.

Ever shot someone with heavy missiles in a Drake from 20-50KM?

If so you probably are not engaging at ridiculous ranges. It is the extra Damage of Cruise Missiles not the Range that will make them fit in with Drake Gangs. They move the same speed therefor can engage from the same range as Drakes.

Torpedoes are to slow and inaccurate for fleet work.

So the Caldari get the most flexible one and the Gallente probably not even a dronebay?

Remove the damn turret slots and leave hybrids to Gallente!
