From time to time, the Eve client will start forgetting things it should remember. For instance, I had to clear my cache and reset all window locations in order to get the client to remember I like having the scanner window open every time I undock, and that I like having my items hangar open when I dock up.

It normally remembers these things. It used to remember these things. But sometimes it just stops and you have to kick it in the ass with a reset.

Have your buddy (it's his address book that seems to be forgetting you) clear his cache and remove / re-add you to his address book. It will *probably* cure the problem if there really is one.
