Trebor Daehdoow - Congrats on being elected to the chair. Is there any chance we can get the vote total from the officer election.

Ripard Teg - Nice work so far in communication and working to make csm 8 something new.

Kesper North - Great work Kesper I look forward to following your progress as a CSM officer

Ali Aras - Great to see a provi rat sitting up and working to make this game a better place.

To the rest of the CSM I would like to also say thank you for serving and working to keep this game going for another 10 years.

You will have to ask CCP Dolan, as the ballots were secret and only he knows the actual numerical results.

Well gratz, Trebor.

I hope you made a better pitch for the job to your fellow members than you did to the public.

As a supporter of your campaign for CSM, but not for your election as chairman, frackin do something with this gorramit! Forget the "chairmanship doesn't matter" crap and seize the opportunity that you are given.

Be a visible leader inside the CSM with CCP and outside with the press and the playerbase. I hope the fact that Ripard is your second inspires you. That's akin to taking command of a klingon warship; falter and he will overtake you, as he should.

And a tip: as a leader you have a little less room to play devil's advocate.

The only end-game content in EVE Online is the crap that makes you rage quit.

You have my sincere condolences Trebor. Does being Chairman mean you'll now have to talk more and be less covert about everything done by the CSM *hint-hint-hint!!!!*? Also, my only complaint is: why isn't Mr Ripard Teg secretary, he obviously likes typing! Blink

I for one have mixed feelings on Treb being the Chair of the CSM. I'm glad he's got the position that his years of working with and connecting with CCP as a company as well as CCP Devs individually has eminently qualify him for. . .

. . on the other hand Trebor is one of only a handful of people who can shut DNSBLACK up when he gets on a roll. . .

I'm going to miss him in fleet but I'm glad he's working to make EVE better for everyone.

Congrats Bro. . .

Wait, did any one else hear that noise? I swear it was the noise of two craniums exploding in a "Scanners"-like fashion. Has anyone seen or heard from Poetic or Frying lately?

Maybe we should have their local law enforcement do a welfare check, just to make sure neither is swinging by their neck from the garage rafters at this news . . .

The exhaustive DNS spy network managed to get this footage of Poetic and Frying reading the results for the first time.

Poetic yes. Frying has been MIA since last week, and I'm actually worried he might have had some form of heart attack or stroke from all of this...

Congrats Trebor, I look forward to your efforts this year.

Frying might be lying somewhere, struck down by a heart attack or stroke, unable to reach his phone. I've seen these commercials late at night for AutoAlert but he's probably spent too much time posting on the forums and missed them.

Either that or he's biomassed himself.

Expected but still incredibly disappointing. Trebor may be quite active and involved, but that doesn't mean he's good

What do you know about how good a CSM chair he'll be?

You realise that being chair has exactly zero relevence to game discussions. It has a great deal of relevence to how able we are to interact with CCP; Trebor has irreplaceable process and org knowledge that has already made him very valuable to the CSM.

I think most people expect the Chair to be a front-man who'll spew CSM propaganda for the whole term while the Vice-Chair does all the work. You guys obviously decided it'll be the other way round. That's fine with me, you'll have to live with your decisions for a whole year. Blink Hopefully it'll work better then everyone expects - and lets be honest, even if we voted for you it's not much of our business.
