I have compiled a video out of the Verites Influence Maps. All the other influence videos I saw were extremely old. My next video may be of the Serenity Influence maps if this video seems like a hit or I get bored. The date range is from 08-09-2007 all the way to 05-18-2013.

Thanks for sharing. Interesting to watch. You should do this yearly or something. With a combo of multiple years now and then as they build up.

I don't care about Goons either way but everyone hatin' on dem should run through this vid a couple of times and in particular how they came to be in that region up there in the NW whose name escapes me. Because, surprise surprise, Goons did not always sit on Tech.

All those people who are always yapping on about how Goons are OP with all their Tech income should do what Goons did. I. e. look at the map, say "nice region... we'll take it!" and then, well, take it.

Goons didnt.

GSF did, and they are a very different organisation than the original goons.

I dont mean this as an anti goon post at all, just pointing it out.

BoBwins Law: As a discussion/war between two large nullsec entities grows longer, the probability of one comparing the other to BoB aproaches near certainty.

Yes, yes. I saw the different colors as bacterial infections attempting to eat away at the edges of their host (the pure center)

Fair bit of honesty here: We were handed that region.

TCF was the previous owner and a long time ally of Goonswarm and had given us a couch to sit on in North Deklein; they started going through internal troubles and eventually disbanded, the vast majority of their corps joining Goonswarm proper. We inherited this land through them.

Now aside from Deklein; the rest of the North was conquered the old fashioned way. Blood and fire. We killed Raiden. Whitenoise and NCDotte for the rest of it.

You know that the previous owners were TCF who were our Bros4Lyfe right? They let us sleep on their couch and then decided to go ride bikes and gave us the apartment.

I prefer watching all of Delve go from yellow back to blue since the drama from that time was worth it.

Fair enough but my original point still stands: all dem Goon h8rs should get off their a$$es and do something about the Goonspiracy rather than mucking up GD with +9000 tear freds.

Looks nice, but edit it to have a legible date stamp somewhere, as is it merely looks like a kindergarten running amok with finger paint .. perhaps a zoom effect in top left corner where date is (if I remember correctly).

Wonder if CCP has been doing something similar as that is probably the only way one gets the impression of dynamism on the sov map and they would surely want just that Smile.
Sov overhaul cannot come fast enough, holding onto to anything of value for any period of time should require blood, sweat and tears 23/7 and not four hours every other weekend.

As for Goons: Who cares? They are just gaming the system better than others, at some point CCP will start to close loopholes and enforce/introduce common sense rules and they'll be screwed (think hunter accustomed to using full automatic assault rifles, forced to use bolt action) .. until then hate/love/ignore, makes little difference.

So we're moving everything of value out of hi-sec or requiring 23/7 blood/sweat/tears or what?

Care to qualify this at all? I mean I'm pretty sure that although the corp name has changed a couple of times, they're still the same people.

Such as what?

"Rule 413: Grrr Goons! Stop winning so much!"

Anyway, please do elucidate on these "common sense" ideas that aren't specifically aimed at goons and won't unintentionally shaft every other alliance far worse.
