FItting Window Loading problem?

When i open up my Fitting window a good 80% of the time i see This:

ive tried looking at another ships fitting, closing/opening, ect..
and its still black-screened..

sometimes it lasts about a minute... other times it takes Several minutes to actually come up.

I do a lot of re-fitting for highsec wars and the such and its a major hindrance when catching a WT or assisting an ally...

Any fixes?

CCP said that clearing your cache should fix this,

I for one can tell you it didnt work for me, although others have reported success

you have to delete your cache manually.

still didnt work for me but give it a shot and see

I've been getting that for a few months now, I've knuckled it down to being a cache or internet (or both) issue. I usually run 2 or 3 clients, and if I haven't opened the fitting window in a while doing so will open the "blank slots" window with my ship in the circle, and then attempt to slowly load the guns (which seem to take a while? why is that). Once the guns have loaded one by one and filled up with ammo, the mids and lows load at an acceptable rate and I can begin to change my fit.

Cache issue because I'm running three clients, and my system is 2+ years old (not that bad but hardware gets slower with age).

Internet issue because I'm in Australia and my ping to London is probably 400-1500 ms at any given point in time. Seems like a low priority sql-style query where my client goes "oi fetch the fitting of this ship" and the server is like "ok" but it waits for acknowledgements for each slot or something. I may fraps it at some point to illustrate.

I can replicate this issue by clicking fast enough
