best resolution setting for macbook pro with retina?

Hi everyone

I have been trying different resolution setting with my macbook pro retina for awhile, and I still cannot decide which one to use.
The native 1400x900 seems alright, while the 2800x1900 is amazing however even with 150% UI scaling it is a bit too hard to read and click. Whats your thought and which resolution setting do you use?

I'm on a 15" screen, and I found that 1920x1600 works best for me. I just upped the tooltip font size a bit, and modified the chat windows, but other than that, all's well. I could go up a notch still, but it's beyond my comfort level.

I do find the game to be really dark, though - with brightness all the way up, I can barely see my ship.
