Forum server getting buggy as heck

2 weeks ago it started getting funny lag spikes. Then my subscribed thread notification stopped working. Now I can't "like" posts anymore and the lag is getting very pronounced at times.

Anyone else experiencing this? And does it make sense to file a bug report via f12 ingame?

Yup, they are bugged and getting worse it seems.

But, nothing to worry about, it's just more CCP :excellence: at work. I'm sure they will jump on fixing it right after they fix the in-game billboards.

I'm merely getting ganked from time to time, no notifications from subscribed threads and sometimes it eats my posts, though the draft function is a godsend.

I filed a petition about how messed up the pop-up is when you click on a character under Safari. Got a reply to re-file that petition, so I did.

Should be a simple CSS fix but meh.

One would think that as the devs / ccp are so involved in their community, getting the forums straightened out would be high up on the priority list.
I hope it is :) !!

I find myself using them less and less now that i cant continue conversations in threads / see where the bulk of interest / chatter is coming from. :(

I use a laptop and Chrome, I have never had an issue with the forums. Maybe the issue is your provider? Just guessing here.

Solecist Project...." They refuse to play by the rules and laws of the game and use it as excuse ..." " They don't care about how you play as long as they get to play how they want."

I use a Toshiba Satellite laptop for foruming. It runs on Vista but uses Chrome for internet. I have a Verizon glass line that works well for most things. Its interesting to hear that some people have trouble and others don't. I always marvel that all these different systems can work together at all.

Ok, so not the same thing...But if your corp needs private message boards... There ya go. Should be relative bug free Big smile

I need to see how it goes and then I may have some public forums there. Doesn't make sense to "compete" with the official forums...But I'm hoping to make a nice EVE player community (useful tools for players and corps, matchmaking services, etc.) and always welcome feedback.
