Eurovision is a very interesting spectacle, but the songs are just one part of it and often not even the best part. I don't care who wins though.

Although it takes a lot of practice to sing Falsetto like that, quite the vocal range.
The cliché vamp act really wasn't needed, although it did fit.

Now Norway was worth watching, that was quite the lady in that dress. Shocked

My bad, did mean Romania.

To get sounds like that out of him must have required extensive reworkings. Irelands was the X-factor entry.

Danes did deserve the win and the UK did better than last year and beat FranceBig smile

My more important half was practically drooling over the sweaty drummers in the Irish act, didn't stop her complaining when I commented on the amount of woman that Norway managed to pour into that white dress... dat ass.

The greek entry was firkin hilarious, had us bouncing around like lunatics, and trying to figure out the chorus, we weren't sure if it was alcohol alcohol is free or alcohol alcohol macaroni cheese.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Eurovision used to be funnier until last year, as we had a presenter who would guesstimate the top votes with amusing accuracy.

Was like "and now, Sweden. It will give 12 to Norway, 10 to Denmark and 8 to Finland" -and bingo!, spot on!

Of course, he had been hosting Eurovision for 30 years and knew perfectly what the contest is about.
