With Dual training coming in June, is there any point in making a new account for an alt?

Though, Isn't PLEX more expensive than buying game time?

I'm trying to decide whether I should wait till June and use PLEX to Dual train an alt on my main account, or just create a new account for the alt altogether, buy game time, and add the alt to my main account at a later point. (Maybe in a year or so)

Sorry if this is a little confusing, what do you think?

Cheers.

It depends on whether you want to dual box (run two accounts at the same time). If you do you'll need a second account otherwise dual train if you just want a hauler alt for use now and again

if you dual train you need to contract stuff back & forth.
all those fees add up.

if you dual account, direct transfer is free, and has no item count limit either.

frequency of use is also something you need to consider, if you plan to haul a lot .............

Create a new account through a buddy link IMO. 21 days free trial, then if you sub your alt your main will get 30 days more game time.

While I generally would agree that fees add up, the 10K flat fee for a private contract? Not so much, really. You would have to make over 50,000 private contracts to equal a plex.

Or, in other words: Close to one contract per minute for an entire month.

There are good reasons to dualbox an alt, but avoiding the contract fee is not a compelling one.

If you don't care about contract prices and being logged in at the same time, then just using dual training would likely be a bit cheaper if you only plan on training for not very long. Especially if you want your alt to be on the same account eventually, as then you would have to pay a 2 plex or 20 buck transfer fee to transfer it from another account.

If you plan on doing long term training it may be more efficient to just create a second account, as then you could just pay 14.95 or less per month (for longer terms), unless you plan on buying plexs off the market. In either case, generally this system seems to work better just for short quick training of hauling alts or industry alts.
