Everyone be aware of the player Saelene Maeleficar. She's using this to get money and scam people (I lost all my ISK to that, 50m, didn't knew that you could scam people around in eve and now I'm broke, proably gonna leave the game). THe char profile:

My Main has made 9 Billion ISK PER DAY for the past few years since 2010. I have reached my only goal of mass wealth! Now I want to share that same ISK with YOU!

Okay since you're a less than 1 month old newbie I replaced your lost isk. Scams can happen in EVE that's one of the reason its a great game. Now to repent for this act of gullibility you must go suicide gank someone.

Good stuff, La Nariz! OP, if Goons ask you for an application fee to join their corp you should NOT let this guide your decision making.

The fact that you can get scammed is what makes EVE great. I wouldn't bother playingif it was any more of a nanny state than it currently is.

P.S. Let us know how the suicide gank goes. This is compulsory. And you should refer your victim to this thread.

Send the isk you were given to Erotica 1. She is Eve's only legitimate isk doubler.

OP thanks for bringing this to our attention. Has anyone been able to confirm that the doubler is not legit, or are we just going by one experience?

I would most certainly be willing to help you recover further and regain some faith in humanity.

For the love of god stop spouting your **** to the newbies. There's screenshot evidence in this section of the forums that shows you are just as "legit" as other doublers. He's already been taken for a ride once... doesn't need to happen again.

OP: It sucks you fell for the scam, but no ISK doubler is legit. The Nigerian Prince analogy above is a good one. No player in EVE is obligated to double your ISK. You're only going by their word. Their faceless, utterly-no-consequences word.

Here's some notes on your scammer as to why they're not legit:
- That so-called API website is a fake. Click "Home" and you'll see it redirects you to a legit site (battleclinic), rather than an actual site. The scammer only shows what they want to on that site - including your 1 ISK check, but not your actual deposit.
- The bio is a copy/paste from other scammers. If you sit in Jita local or another trade hub and look at the bio of all the doublers that advertise you'll start noticing patterns. The "easy 9bill ISK a day" line is one of the ones to look out for. Another alarm bell should be that only select few players in the game have the smarts and market base to make "an easy 9bill a day".
- ISK doublers are often pretty new. Yes they can claim they're an alt but this can be another warning sign

Hey hey! Sorry, didn't suicide ganked anyone yet, it was a busy weekend.
I got a question, if I suicide gank someone, will the "cops" kill my char as well? Or only my ship? This is important because I've used all those good implants that you receive when you buy the 3 months pack.
I liked your Suicide gank Fit, and I already got a trasher to do it! Just need the confirmation that my char won't die and then I'm good to go.

Concord will confiscate your ship at gunpoint and will continue to do so for 15 minutes if you keep undocking. All players (but not Concord) will be able to fire on your pod in that time.

Before you attempt the gank you should set up a GTFO tab on your overview, which should only have planets and the sun on it (in highsec you can also use moons). As soon as you lock your intended victim (before you fire!), switch to the GTFO tab and warp your pod away when your ship goes boom. Then, get yourself docked up.

Stay docked until your 15 minute timer expires - you can find it in the top left of your screen.

You should also be aware that your victim will have 30 days in which to kill you once without Concord interference, or they can make this killright available to other people. In my experience, most gank victims are too busy crying to do anything, but you should be aware of the revenge potential. You will get a notification via Eve mail if killrights are activated.
