When is CCP going to Buff Blops

Its seems to me that if CCP want everyone to do more pvp with black ops or blops for short then why not buff the blops ships already instead on nurfing/buffing the caps and super caps? In my view of things the blops need the buff more than the supers need a nerf. Why I say this, for one Blops has been out longer than super caps, secound, blops brings more pvp than nerfing the supers, another words is that with blops you can hot drop on unsuspecting targets making the game much more funner to play than to having to calulate how much feul to bring along with feul trucks( cloaky haulers).So buffing up the jump base from 2 ly to 4 ly and give a mega boost to the feul bay for the blops from 3k m3 to 25k m3 less feul trucks to bring, more ships that can be bridge and more pvp can be done.EvilTwisted


Pros:
  • More PVP

  • more use for the black ops instead of being graint paper weights.

  • Cons:

  • More costly to use

  • Bad who ever is about to get hot droped.

    It seems to me that CCP wants us to fly spaceships and thats the basics covered. They don't really care which ships. They just want you to get out there and start having fun.

    If you manage to use a blops, then that's great. I think blops would be great fun. I'm too scared to use mine in combat. Sad
    Actually I think a range boost would be good.

    A better question is: Why is CCP trying to herd people into using specific ships in pvp at all? What real business is it of theirs to move to such a degree to alter the characteristics of the ships to guide the usage to specific ships? Furthermore, why are players allowing themselves to be herded around like goats by the game management when the players are supposed to be making their own objective choices?

    Then, you may as well be asking why did the CCP staff watch and offer commentary on an obviously rigged tournament as though it was just a normal walk through the park? Integrity? Not here.

    We must accommodate the idiocracy.

    gtfo and learn to use black ops instead of just complaining that they "don't work well enough".
    You simply need to utilize it correctly/better.

    Black Ops are fine, we had a one running around our space being a **** for to long with a Sin and a Rapier.

    If any buff is needed (which I'm not convinced of) then a small increase in jumprange would promote use a lot more than anything else.

    Maybe 6ly instead of the current 4.5ly which in some regions is pretty much useless. For example large sections of Syndicate can be reached from low-sec Placid, and once you're in there you have a LOT of options. Try that from Sendaya - can't even reach Curse never mind go somewhere useful.

    So perhaps a buff to jumprange would increase usage. 6ly might be too much, I dunno.

    Edit - that's 6ly with maxed skills, not base P

    Supercaps arrived in RMR (Dec, 2005), Blackops arrived in Trinity (Dec, 2007)

    However, I'd love to see a buff to blackops, especially the LY, they are pretty gimped atm imo.

    Blackops are support ships. They don't need firepower or tank, they can just bridge recons, bombers and blockade runners around.
    The fuel problem can be coped with by bringing a full cargo prorator/viator with you.

    A possbile buff to blackops could be the reduction of the skill requirements for the covert cyno.

    Changing from the requirements from Cynosural Field Theory level V to level IV could make the usage of blackops really more common.

    Doubt it. We have several BO pilots but they still never get used.

    #1 reason is because we'll have to drag a hauler with us for the isotopes

    #2 reason is the limited strike range.
