Or as a Tracking Disruptor, which is exactly what you'd think it'd do. A giant cloud of rock particles surrounding the ship similar to how an Octopus squirts ink to confuse a predator so it can make an escape. That's actually not a bad idea but Miners have plenty of options to keep from getting ganked, 90% of them just refuse to use those options, and that's not CCP's fault.
