In Eve, there is a counter to everything, right?

Well, what about non-consensual PvP? A player can force another player into a PvP situation but there is no counter to this.

NOW THERE IS!

The Non-Consensual Mining Module (NCMM). This is a medium slot module that fits only on the Venture, the Orca and the mining barges and exhumers.

It is a system that constantly cycles, so there is some power draw to keep it from being too OP.

How does it work, you ask? As soon as a "red" player targets and fires upon a ship with this module, the module fires a massive amount of nannites at the attacking ship. These nannites go after the various offensive systems on the attackers ship. All weapons are turned into mining lasers or gas collectors. All EW, webifiers and warp scramblers are transformed into survey scanners.

That fancy Marauder you trained for over months has now become a heavily armored mining machine. All those expensive tech 2 modules and weapons can now cut through asteroids like butter or suck gas clouds better than that gal down on 3rd St. Your tiny hold will be filled in no time!

I have the Cloak-B-Gone itself ready to go, but the applicator is giving us problems in zero-G environments. Whoda thunk that an aerosol would be so difficult and temperamental?

You can't be serious all the time. I just saw someone use that non-consensual PvP line and I wondered what carebears could do to PvP-ers. Nothing, so I put this out for a laugh. You know how it is when you get something silly in your head. :)

That would make any other mining ship obsolete.

Carebears absolutely should have a way to attack PvPers outside of Flying in Space combat. There are at least a couple of threads on industrial warfare.

In terms of barges having some more attack options it might be neat if miners had the option to blast ore into the space around them that would act as a shield / decloaking field.

Mentioning marauders for pvp highly displays your ignorance, and it's a pretty bad idea. -1 keep the tears coming

I want a Miner bobble-head in a denim skirt on the dash board of my ship that cries yummy Carebear tears every time I pop a player's ship.
