Absolutely detest the new font. Can't stand it. Makes me want to gouge my eyes out.

If I have to stare at that monstrosity constantly on my now bigger than ever overview, chat, fleet, watchlist, drone tabs I just wont bother.

If it's not optional from the start I'll just be unsubscribing until everyone makes you bring it back like ship spinning or someone releases a client hack / patch to restore it.

Good job.

I agree, I really don't like the new font, but I know some people really do like it, I really hope there will be an option to chose which font we prefer!

Personally I found the new font much easier to read and looked much crisper than the old one.

Nex (Cash Shop) / Aurum - removing sand from the sandbox since Incarna. Currently the only use for aurum is to buy virtual items in the in-game store, but Cockerill expects to expand its uses in the future.

To my eyes (which ain't the best but hey..) the new font is far easier to read. That being said I actually prefer the old font as it looks neater to me.

Being able to choose between the two would be a decent option IMO, it's just a shame we can't use any font we may have installed on our systems.

I want to use Wingdings, dammit! Lol

Yep, for us to be able choose would be best, much like with the old vs. new icons discussion.
However I have no idea how much headache an option like this would cause our dear CCP devs.

I'd like to add that I think we all have a tendency to hate on new things too fast..

The new font is simply, too many pixels high, it feels streched.

That being said, the places where it is BOLD, it does look pretty good.

So either destrech or add some weight to the text, and it will be alot better.

i patched sisi and log onto it and i have severe problems to read anything. i have glasses and it is a pain to read item information or even the bookmarks in space. and the brightness of this front is also hurting me. so plz CCP let us choose between the fonts but dont make this new one the only one.

This new fonts looks to me like my linux X desktop - 10 years ago :)

My eye has to get used to the new fonts, it's not that easy to read it at first. Might be something about the letter distancing.

Also, the yellow color for the linked text was better, than this bold white. On the market the current white text looks far too shiny. it jumps out of the screen. That might need a bit of adjusting still.
