Is there any plans to actually include them in the upcoming expansion Odissey ? Still haven't seen them uploaded in Singularity yet.

They would likely publish planned changes in the features and ideas forums well before they hit the test server. I think its safe to say that we won't see command ship or gang link changes in Odyssey.

Makes me very disappointed given the blog on them came out before the last expansion. It's one of the area's I feel CCP has done a poor job on, as it's been over a year since they talked about it, and near that since they gave confirmed hard numbers on the proposed changes.

Your probably right but release a Dev blog about the subject and then 0... well doesn't sound right. The CS will remain waiting for better days since today there is no reason at all to use them. Ugh

It's a complicated issue, we may well find that they've just had to push it back to a separate smaller release shortly after the main expansion. thankfully CCP have moved towards a more iterative process now so there will inevitably be odyssey 1.1, 1.2 etc etc.

We stated in that blog that we were covering future plans to give the overall roadmap, not set features for the next expansion.

CS and T3 command bonus changes will not be included in Odyssey, although they are still on our roadmap.

I'm surprised that this wouldn't be higher on the priority list, considering that OGB and T3-links being WAY better than "specialized" Command Ships are utterly broken atm.

OGB boosts put the boosting ship in absolutely no risk while providing HUGE benefits to the linked-ships. T3s, on the other hand, having so much boosting power--overshadowing the boosting potential of a Command Ship--is especially egregious, considering CSs speciality-nature. This T2/T3 pairing doesn't really comport with your strategy to have T2 better at their intended specialties and leave T3s as do-it-all-but-not-better-than-T2.

Seriously, Fozzie, put those T3 boosters at risk if pilots want to have boosts. It's now to a point where a "1-v-1" in Eve is really a T3 booster, scout, logi, dd vs 1 entering the system. Not fun, to say the least.

You're preaching to the choir here. Both of those points are already widely agreed by players and devs. Apparently they didn't have time to put in the T2/T3 rebalance this time, they're just finishing the T1 rebalance run and it seems navy ships are next on the list, and the only reason OGB still exists is purely technical, i.e. it's very difficult to remove.

wtf

There was very little that needed to be done :O

Link subsystem bonus 5 -> 2

Surely this could still fit in the Odyssey.
