I realize it does not happen often; However, The server is down now I have no idea when it will be back up?
Wouldn't it be nice if there was a place we could go to find out what is happening? When do they think it will be back up?
In my case it would be great if CCP would post something in Facebook or possibly right in the launcher, but any real time posting would help.

If us players had some idea when it might be back up, it keep thousands of players from trying unsuccessfully attempting to sign on to EVE.

CCP will update you when they are able to give you some sort of useful information.

When I tried to log in at 11:45ish there was a big notice on the screen saying that DT was extended to 12:30 due to start up issues. I was able to log in when I went back at 12:38 or so... not sure how much plainer and clearer it would need to be.
