I used to do shopping or make breakfast during downtime, nowadays it's way too short for tha. I demand longer downtime!!! Evil

Seriously though, the time was not chosen arbitrarily; a lot of work is done at downtime and sometimes also problems will surface after downtime, so it needs to be during CCP's main office hours when everyone is there and can work for lot more hours that day in case serious problems emerge. Or do you think devs should work night shift every day just because of the TZ with the least actual as well as potential EVE players?

Its much worse for people in UK/Europe on the weekends where its right in the middle of the day. Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.

But usually I'm waking up around that time on a weekend, and then I have the next 12-15 hours uninterrupted before I go back to sleep. Life is good in GMT/BST.
