conventional meaning ship based weapons. I was wondering what situations people would recomend drone based DPS over ship based weapons?

What is the best solo warp PVE ship? Best being in the eye of the beholder so please mention why you prefer it(great tank, dps or whatever)

If I recall, you are the player who just came back after a while.

Things have changed with drones significantly, and even recently. But you will get better results for your inquiry in the ships and modules subforum.

if money is no option, the tengu is best pve ship in eve. It has extraordinary tank, and can be fitted to easily handle a wide variety of missions and other things. for pve training into that won't be a bad idea

Carriers are pretty decent for drone damage if you ask me. Also it tends to have some sort of a half assed tank on it.

Any time when your ship is likely to encounter significant ewar, when engaging larger targets and when the hostiles definitely don't have smartbombs fit.

Best PvE ship is the Vindicator, highest possible ticks outside of supercaps, although this does depend on where you live.

Ewar. Traget jamming doesnt effect drones i take it?

I was under impression smartbombs arent popular because hitting concord or friendlies.

Why are they good against large targets?

The vindicator is a fine ship. How does it stack up against the rattlesnake?

Technically if ISK really is no problem then a Carrier (or supercarrier, but then you would have more ISK then sense) is far better than a Tengu in pretty much every way.

Also a Mach is far better than a tengu

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.

Asking more or less the same questions all over the forum is definitely not done. Please stick to one thread.

Navy domi, mini carrier. My t2 sentries absoultely rip through rats. I sit out 100km and launch them. Rats never even get close. And if they happened to. Mjd away rinse repeat. Also ECM drones just in case a baddie finds me. My vote for best ship is domi for pve always has been always will.
