Agreed the Drake is better overall for what you want to do. If you can armor tank and want to use Drones, the Prophesy was just changed to fill that role.

Still- at least for PvE, fit whatever ship you like with whatever you like. It's still just a game and obsessing over the 'right' ship or module is for EFT warriors that rarely log into the game itself. Enjoy yourself. If you simply like the look of a ship, chances are you can make it work in PvE. People forget to enjoy Eve rather than just 'win' at it.

The Drake is still an easy button for PvE with fully selectable damage and tank for each type of rat. But recent buffs and changes all around are making this less of a knee jerk reaction to suggest it to PvE runners. All the BC's can work for killing rats, some will simply do it a bit faster or with less warp outs. None of that means you HAVE to fly someone else's idea of perfect. Don't get me wrong, lots of good advice on ships and fittings here- just saying that it's your game, don't allow others to play it for you by just mimicking what they do.

PvP on the other hand is wildly unpredictable. Only PvE warriors get hung up on the 'right' ship since out in the ether, I've seen it all. Ships people on the forums call 'broken' or 'useless' still manage to be seen in PvP fleets and getting KMs. In PvP, the only true answer to 'is this ship better than that one' is a very scientific...it depends.
