I had to abandon some rescued slaves.

So I'm blowing up some Amarr slavers and I go to loot their wrecks and I find surviving slaves and slave hounds. However, since holding slaves in your cargo is illegal, I could only rescue the slave hounds and had to leave the slaves to die in the vacuum of space. CCP could you make an option to turn 'Slaves' into 'Freed Slaves' or something so that next time I can rescue these people?

I agree with you but even leaving them to die is better than leaving them in the hands of the Amarr.

As. Professional amarr slaver, I am disappointed you let them die. You could have used them.

That happens to me a lot, but not with slaves, with drugs!

How can you leave in space 10 to 20 cubic meters of FREE DRUGS?

Can you imagine that? You could go for days on that alone and at most burn or flat out two or three clones ... Big smile

Repurpose slaves into Exotic Dancers!

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

There are several important distinctions to be made here...

Carrying slaves in your cargo hold is not illegal. Getting *caught* carrying slaves in your cargo hold is illegal.

Faction police and Concord rarely hang out around stations, unless someone recently drew their attention there of course, so warping to the nearest station and dropping them off there is nearly risk-free. There you go, no dead slaves on your conscience!

Bear in mind, my friend, that attempting to carry them through a high-sec stargate is risky at best and should only be attempted by a duly trained and dedicated capsuleer. Slaves garner stiff punishments with the law enforcement branches that routinely patrol these gates.

Yes, now you will have a small population of slaves in your inventory, but if you care to send me a GalNet message, I can get you in contact with some -um- associates who will be happy to meet you nearly anywhere and receive them via trade. I can't say that they will offer any kind of "rescue" compensation, as that is a bit too much like buying them on the black market for some people's taste.

Rest assured, these people will be well cared for and reunited with others of their tribes and nations when Concord finally agrees to allow them "freed" status.

Thus Spake the Frigate Goddess!

Little known fact: Minmatar, like miners, have no feelings.

Highsec is owned by players now. Systems 0.5-1.0 are New Order Territory. All miners and other residents of Highsec must obey The Code. Mining without a permit is dangerous and harmful to the EVE community. See www.MinerBumping.com
