i saw the venture was built for quick in and out mining in warp? is that more lucrative than regular mining?

I was recomended to use the retriever is that because it has large ore hold space?

Then i saw some posts gleeful about the hulk, is that the best miner in the game?

Can't help thinking that if someone recommended the retriever, why didn't they tell you why they were recommending it.

Venture has a good sized ore hold for such a small ship. 5000m3. It's easy to use, quick, good for new players while they train up for a Barge/Exhumer.

Retrievers are good for solo mining, large ore hold so you can be out in a belt for a while without needing to unload as often. Also doesn't take much time to skill into one.

Hulk's are great if you're looking to maximize your yield, they have the smallest ore hold of the exhumer class ships because they are meant for fleet mining ops where you will have haulers to unload to. Hulk also has the least amount of Tanking ability of the 3 exhumers. Mackinaw has the largest ore hold, decent tank, good for ice and or solo mining. Skiff has 15,000 ore hold, best tank of the 3, has a bonus to ice harvester duration but can mine ore decently fast as well. Really comes down to what you're lookin to do with the ship. I prefer the Skiff over the others because you can get over 100k ehp tank on it :D

Asking more or less the same questions all over the forum is definitely not done. Please stick to one thread.
